Do you aspirate with every Dermal Filler injection?

Last week one of our students had a positive aspiration but do you:
- Understand the limitations of aspirating
- Understand what you actually aim to achieve by aspirating (i.e. understand the difference between reducing risk of vascular occlusion vs guaranteeing that there will be no occlusion)
- Implement other really important methods when trying to reduce the risk of a vascular occlusion.

Jowling/Sagging

Many patients have concerns over jowling and sagging. When Dermal Fillers are used appropriately they can help reduce the appearance of the jowling and provide linearity to the jawline.

This patient was treated in one of our 1:1 training sessions and had Dermal Fillers administered via cannula to help improve the jaw line and via needle to the lateral cheek (an upward vector).
