Year 4 had even more sunny weather and blue skies for their final day, after the most incredibly clear and starry night on Tuesday!

Groups 1-4 went climbing whilst groups 5-7 explored the challenge course.

This was followed by a final lunch in the beautiful outdoor dining area (pictured at night) and a fond farewell on what has been a fantastic trip. We hope the children had the best time, the Meadow team certainly did too!

Day 2 has been a beautiful day, full of sunshine!

After a delicious cooked breakfast, the groups went off to enjoy their first activity. Today, all children experienced fire lighting and cooking over a campfire. They made popcorn and had the choice of making a flatbread in a pan or a bread 'worm' on a skewer. Everyone enjoyed tasting their creation and loved the toppings of cinnamon or jam!

Everyone also had fun climbing the high ropes. We are so proud of how high they dared to venture!

Dinner was followed by an evening play in the sunset and a movie night with hot chocolate!

After a very muddy hike to High Ashurst yesterday, Year 4 arrived safely, ready to get stuck in to a range of activities!

Groups 1-4 took on the challenge course, whilst groups 5-7 went climbing! We've also been lucky enough to see some wildlife too.

Pasta bolognese, followed by cake and custard for dinner went down a storm and was exactly the fuel everyone needed for a night walk through the woods hearing all about the history of the grounds, followed by a campfire and lots of singing!

Day 2 is in full swing and the sun is thankfully shining!

Our bags are packed and the children have their last activities before we head home.
The children will be coming home tired, with a lot of dirty washing and hearts full of happy memories that we truly hope they will treasure forever ๐Ÿ’™

Day two at Osmington Bay was a day full of fun and laughter! Some of the children spent the morning raft building and playing in the sea, which was very refreshing as the weather is glorious. Other activities included climbing, vertical challenge, orienteering, fencing and sensory trail.
We ended the day with songs at the campfire, with a beautiful sea view โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿคบ๐Ÿง—โ€โ™€๏ธ

Year 6 Activity Week is in full swing!
We kicked off the day with a competitive game of bowling- some of us trying it for the very first time! It was great fun and a chance to cheer each other on. Bowling helped us develop focus, coordination, and patience, while also encouraging friendly competition and sportsmanship.
Afterwards, we enjoyed lunch out together before returning to school for a lively game of Capture the Flag in the sunshine. This exciting game challenged our teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking, plus, it got us all moving and working together towards a common goal!

Year 6 have had a fantastic first day at Osmington Bay! The children have taken part in activities such as archery, zip wire, problem solving and vertical challenge.
They have already shown such teamwork and friendship- cheering each other on and being supportive.
Dinner was an exciting time for all, with lots to choose from and a delicious cake for dessert.
We have ended our day with a movie night- hopefully everybody sleeps will before our busy day of activities tomorrow!
