This week in Maths, Owl class have been learning about time. They learned about the different hands on the clock and matched the time-cards to the correct clock face. They then challenged their partners by setting a time on their own mini-clocks and asked them to read it.

Bumblebee class have recently been on an exciting storytelling adventure, creating their very own story maps inspired by 'We're Going on a Lion Hunt'. The children loved bringing their ideas to life through detailed drawings and labels, carefully using their phonetic knowledge to sound out and spell words independently. It has been wonderful to see their creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm shine through in their work. We are incredibly proud of all their hard work and effort.

Please see the learning for Year 1 and Year 2 for this week.

Our local Outstanding school-based teacher training provider, South Farnham SCITT, is hosting an information session this Saturday between 10 – 12 for prospective teachers.

This informal session is designed to help you explore the possibilities of a teaching career and understand the various pathways available.

Whether you're just beginning to explore the idea of teaching or you're ready to take the next step toward application, come and chat to one of our friendly team about:

• Different routes into teaching and which might suit you best
• Options for primary or secondary programmes
• Entry requirements and qualifications needed
• The application process explained step-by-step
• What teacher training with South Farnham SCITT involves
• Our comprehensive training programme and vast network of local partner schools

We work closely with the team at South Farnham SCITT and value their supportive and personalised approach to teacher training and commitment to developing exceptional teachers who make a real difference in children's lives.
