🎉 Well, That’s a Wrap on Another Fantastic School Year! 💙

Apologies for the newsletter reaching you a little later than usual, it’s been a very busy and emotional week, especially for our Year 6 families.

A huge thank you and goodbye to Angela, Nisha and Kellie as they leave the PSA. Thank you for everything you’ve done for our school community over the years, you’ve all made such a difference. We wish your three boys every happiness and success as they begin the next exciting chapter of their school journey. 💙

We’d also like to send a massive thank you to everyone who has given their time, energy and enthusiasm to the PSA over the years. Every volunteer, class rep, committee member and helper has played a part in creating opportunities and memories for our children, and we’re incredibly grateful for every single one of you. 🫶🙌🫶🙌

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, we’d love to hear from you! Michelle will be back in September, continuing to lead our fantastic PSA as she has done for the last three years. Whether you can spare an hour at an event, help behind the scenes or would like to take on a bigger role, every little bit of support really does make a difference. 💙 THANK YOU ANGELA
You’ll Be Missed More Than You Know 💙

As one chapter comes to an end, we’d like to say a huge thank you to Angela Macfarlane Collins for everything she has given to the WEPS PSA over years.

From helping to rebuild the PSA in 2023 to playing a huge part in raising an incredible £42,500 for our school, Angela has dedicated an enormous amount of time, energy and care to the WEPS community.

Every event, raffle and fundraiser has helped provide enrichment opportunities, resources and experiences that have made a real difference to the children at WEPS. Hundreds of children have benefited from Angela’s dedication, and many more will continue to do so for years to come.

Behind every successful event have been countless hours that nobody sees, planning meetings, collecting prizes, setting up, packing away, problem solving and making sure every event was the very best it could be.

Although Angela is stepping down from her official role as her child moves on to high school, the legacy she leaves isn’t just measured in pounds raised, but in the enrichment opportunities, workshops, resources and experiences she’s helped make possible for the children of WEPS.

Thank you Angela, for your kindness, leadership, enthusiasm and unwavering commitment. We wish you and your family every happiness in this exciting new chapter, and we have a feeling we’ll still see you around at the odd WEPS event! 💙

💙 Three years. Countless volunteer hours. One incredible legacy.

Three years ago, Angela Macfarlane Collins and Michelle Stanley stepped up to lead the WEPS PSA.

Since then, they’ve dedicated countless hours to organising events, raising funds and bringing our school community together.

Every event, raffle and fundraiser has helped provide enrichment opportunities, resources and experiences that have made a real difference to the children at WEPS. Hundreds of children have benefited from their hard work, and many more will continue to do so for years to come.

Under their leadership, the WEPS PSA has gone from strength to strength, raising an incredible £42,500 for our school.

While Angela’s child is now leaving WEPS, we’re delighted that Michelle will be continuing as PSA Chair, building on everything they’ve achieved together.

The legacy they’ve created isn’t just measured in pounds raised, but in the enrichment opportunities, workshops, resources and experiences they’ve made possible for the children of WEPS.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the incredible support of the wider WEPS PSA team and our amazing volunteers. Every event has been a true team effort, and every person who has given their time has helped create something really special for our children. 💙

Thank you, Angela and Michelle, for your leadership, enthusiasm and commitment over the last three years. Your dedication has made a lasting difference to our school community and to generations of WEPS children. 🫶🫶
