Today, our Big Dreamers enjoyed learning all about Raksha Bandhan, a special Hindu festival celebrating the beautiful bond between siblings and loved ones. 🌸

The children loved talking about the special people in their lives and sharing what makes them feel loved and cared for. 🥰

They then got creative making their very own Rakhi bracelets to give to someone special! 🧵🌈

A wonderful day of learning about culture, friendship, love and relationships …all while having lots of fun! 💕✨

Today we’re celebrating Raksha Bandhan, a Hindu festival that celebrates the special bond between siblings, traditionally through the tying of a rakhi, a colourful thread or bracelet symbolising love, care and protection.
At Big Dreams, we loved learning about this beautiful tradition and celebrating the special family relationships, kindness and love that are so important to our Dreamers. 🥰
