In 2026, it is challenging for children to get all the nutrients they need through a “balanced diet.” Therefore, there can be huge benefits from supplementation that has been tested with Systematic Kinesiology to target their health needs. For children, we particularly look at probiotics and antioxidants to boost their digestion and immune systems.

Vitamin D is also recommended during autumn and winter, particularly for children with limited sunlight exposure.

I’ve seen the huge difference with my own children, and now with my granddaughter. She has very little illness and has rarely needed to take time off from nursery — she just doesn’t get everything that’s “going around.” A good diet, together with tested supplements and remedies, can absolutely enhance our children’s health, activity, sleep and emotional wellbeing.

However, if you are unable to get your child tested, Zambroza is a great all-rounder — a healthy, tasty fruit drink packed with antioxidants that can help support immunity.

💚 Your Lymph System: The Body's Quiet Housekeeper

Unlike the circulatory system, your lymph doesn't have a pump of its own — it relies on movement, breath, and muscle contraction to keep flowing. Which means a sedentary day, shallow breathing, or chronic tension can quietly slow the whole system down.

What it's doing for you, constantly:

💧 Draining excess fluid from your tissues
🛡️ Supporting your immune defences
🌿 Clearing waste and toxins your cells don't need
🔄 Keeping your whole system in balance

Even your ears have their own lymph nodes doing this quiet filtering work — a good reminder that this network runs through the entire body, not just the areas we usually associate with immunity.

Simple ways to support lymph flow:
🚶 Move daily — walking, stretching, and gentle bouncing (like on a rebounder) all help lymph circulate
💧 Stay hydrated — lymph fluid needs water to flow freely
🌬️ Deep breathing — the diaphragm acts almost like a pump for your lymphatic system
🤲 Gentle touch — light massage or lymphatic drainage techniques can encourage sluggish areas to move again

Healthy lymph flow, healthy you. 💚

⚓ Sometimes, It's Better to Let Go

We hold onto things because letting go feels like losing — but sometimes what we're gripping is the very thing keeping us stuck.

What's one thing you've let go of that turned out to be the best decision you made? 💙

💧 Kidney Health: More Than Just Hydration

Your kidneys quietly filter your entire blood supply around 40 times a day — but they're also some of the most stress-sensitive organs in the body.

What the current research tells us:
Chronic stress raises cortisol and adrenaline, which pushes blood pressure up — and sustained high blood pressure is one of the biggest drivers of kidney strain over time.

It's a slow, quiet process, which is exactly why the early warning signs are easy to miss: persistent fatigue, puffiness around the eyes, ankles or feet, and changes in urination are often the first clues that your kidneys are working harder than they should.

In systematic kinesiology and Five Element traditions, the kidneys are closely linked to the emotion of fear and to our foundational reserves — willpower, resilience, and how safe we feel in the world. It's often no coincidence when kidney-related imbalances show up alongside periods of chronic worry, insecurity, or feeling unsupported.

Simple ways to support them:
🥤 Stay hydrated — little and often, rather than a big catch-up at the end of the day
🧂 Go easy on salt and caffeine, especially if blood pressure runs high
🚶 Gentle regular movement — walking, yoga, swimming — supports circulation and lowers stress hormones
😴 Prioritise sleep — this is when blood pressure naturally drops, giving kidneys a break
🧘 Build in real rest, not just "doing nothing" — nervous system downtime matters as much as physical rest.
