A standing ovation for our LAMDA stars!

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate a fantastic set of LAMDA results, with 100% of our children achieving Distinction in their Solo Introductory Stage 2 examinations.👏

At St Christopher’s, nurturing confidence starts from the earliest years. From Year 1, children can choose individual LAMDA lessons as part of our peripatetic drama programme, helping them find their voice, express themselves clearly and grow in confidence. Congratulations to all our young performers on this brilliant achievement! 🎭✨

🎬 A Day in the Life of Our Headteacher!
Mr Z had an incredible day as our Headteacher for the Day!
He kicked things off by welcoming everyone at the school gates with a smile and a handshake, making sure every child had the very best start to their day.
First on the agenda was one of the biggest decisions of all - hosting a special whole-school assembly to watch the World Cup highlights!
Then came another important choice... the lunch menu! Macaroni cheese followed by ice cream? A very popular decision that certainly got everyone's approval!
At lunchtime, Mr Z hosted a special Headteacher's Top Table, inviting some of his friends and teachers to join him for lunch.
Throughout the day, he proudly presented our Headteacher's Awards, celebrating children for their fantastic achievements. He then confidently welcomed parents to our Summer Music Concert before presenting a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful music teacher, Mrs Colchester, for all her hard work and dedication.
To round off the afternoon, Mr Z chose the perfect whole-school treat—story time in the shade with biscuits. (Proof that every great Headteacher knows exactly when it's biscuit o'clock!)
Finally, Mr Z helped dismiss the children at the end of the school day, bringing a fantastic day of leadership to a close.
A huge well done to Mr Z for being such a brilliant Headteacher for the Day!

🏅 What a brilliant House Day at St Christopher’s!🏃‍♀️

From our youngest Nursery children to Year 2, the whole school came together for a day of races, challenges, creativity, teamwork and plenty of cheering. Our Nursery children are very much part of school life at St Christopher’s, joining in with special events and traditions alongside the older children and growing in confidence from their earliest days with us.

At the other end of their St Christopher’s journey, our Year 2 Sports Captains helped lead the House parade and encouraged the teams throughout the day – a wonderful example of how confidence and leadership grow as children move through the school.

Year 2 took part in a very special musical experience at the Barbican Centre this week!

The children enjoyed an exciting and interactive workshop with the London Symphony Orchestra, exploring how composers transform the orchestra into all sorts of unusual modes of transport through music. They also learnt and performed a participation song written especially for the concert.

As a school, we are proud to have a specialist music teacher, Mrs Colchester, whose expertise helps nurture a love of music and provides children with enriching opportunities such as this. Experiences like these are invaluable, allowing pupils to engage with live orchestral performances, develop their listening and musical skills, build confidence through participation, and gain inspiration from professional musicians at the highest level.

What a wonderful morning celebrating Father’s Day at St Christopher’s!

From World Cup-worthy keepie-uppies and penalty shootouts to building famous landmarks from paper cups (including a Great Wall of China that nearly stretched across the playground!), children and their VIP guests enjoyed a morning full of creativity, teamwork and fun.

A special thank you to all the dads, grandads and special people who joined us and made the day so memorable. Moments like these are a lovely reminder of what makes St Christopher’s such a nurturing and family-centred community. 💙

What an adventure for our Year 2 children on their residential trip to Juniper Hall!

A residential is unusual for such a young year group, but our children rose to the challenge brilliantly, building confidence, resilience and independence through outdoor adventures, teamwork and time in nature.

As we prepare to say goodbye to our Year 2s in a few weeks as they move on to their next chapter, this trip will remain a treasured memory. From bunk beds and marshmallows to celebrating a 7th birthday away from home, there were plenty of unforgettable moments along the way.
