A big Hello to our Parents, Guardians and Carers at Nursery & Pre-School.

A very warm welcome to our first Chrysalis Sign Supported English sharing video. (SSE) 🫶🏼

Each month we will be sharing a selection of signs the nursery and pre-school will be learning, sharing and introducing to your children.
We hope these videos ar useful and will make it easy for you to learn along with us, and if you’d like to, practise and use the signs at home as well.

The signs we use are British Sign Language signs (BSL). However, at Chrysalis, we will be using Sign Supported English.
This means we use the signs alongside our spoken words, rather than signing without speaking.

Do keep an eye on our socials page, ‘Chrysalis Epping’ & Tapestry for our monthly signs update, videos, and so much more.
All four rooms will be introducing more age appropriate signs for your children. Which then can be used as part of their everyday experiences outside and inside nursery.

We are very excited to begin this journey with you.

Are you ready for a roaring good time! 🎉🦕🦖

We have all things Dinosaurs coming up!! 🦖🦕
A huge favourite topic to cover and explore!

We are always encouraging children’s natural curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. We have many dinosaur resources for inside inspiration as well as outside in the garden, all the while still having plenty of exploring fun alongside their piers.
You never know we may have some palaeontologists on our hands! 🤩 🗺️

Hedgehogs 🦔 have created their very own ‘Dinosaur Land’ for all the children to visit and see in their Imagaination corner.
The other nursery rooms, I am sure will enjoy a visit to the Dino land as well. 🫶🏼🦖🦕 💚

Another transport creation build, made from different cardboard boxes! How cool!
Our fabulous staff member, Lenie, and the Hedgehogs children enjoyed doing this together.
The children had so much fun, talking about the colours used, exploring different shapes used on the car and it really did boost their imagination about cars 🚙 🩵 Super proud of you all. Well done.

🌟 Mud Kitchen area has had a little revamp! 🌟

Mud kitchens are more than just a place to make mud pies and flower cakes! They’re a recipe for creativity, learning, and child development, especially in the early years. Whether our children are mixing mud, pouring water, whipping up imaginary dishes, or now, making some special magical flower potions! A mud kitchen supports key developmental milestones in a fun and engaging way, allowing tons of curious creativity whilst playing alongside one another socially.

Ready to stir up some messy magic!! ✨ We can’t wait to see what the children make and create this week!!
