We had a fantastic European Languages Day. It was a great opportunity to develop our efforts to promote Irish throughout our school.

Our staff have been working hard to make Irish part of everyday school life, and it has been wonderful to see the children embracing and enjoying the language.

We look forward to building on this throughout the year. Parents can play a really important role too — even a simple Maidin mhaith or a few Irish words at home can make a big difference.

We have been celebrating European Day of Languages this week with lots of fun Irish-language activities throughout our school.

As part of our Scoil Spreagtha project, we have set ourselves a challenge — to encourage as many members of our school community as possible to greet each other with “Maidin Mhaith” instead of “Good morning”.

We would love our families to join in too! 💚

If you are dropping your children off at school, please greet our staff and your friends with “Maidin Mhaith!”

Let’s make “Maidin Mhaith” part of our everyday school life.

Mrs Magee’s class were invited to visit the Enniskillen Townhall and to meet some council members and the Chair of the council, Ms Debbie Coyle. After some refreshments the pupils had an opportunity to sit in the Council Chamber and ask questions. They even got a chance to wear the Chain of Office and use the gavel.

Holy Trinity held a charity fundraising brunch on Friday 25th September, to raise money for the Friends of the Cancer Centre. Staff brought a selection of sweet and/or savory foods to school for the brunch, some home baked and some bought.

Afterwards there was a raffle with lots of amazing prizes and the Holy Trinity Bake Off winners were announced. Congratulations to our winning Star Bakers and to all our lucky prize winners.

Thank you to everyone involved in the preparations for the fundraiser, it was a fantastic brunch with lots of fantastic prizes. Thank you also to staff and the local businesses who donated such wonderful prizes for the raffle, it is very much appreciated.

So far the fundraiser has raised @£1250 for 'The Friends of Cancer Centre'. Well done to all the Holy Trinity Staff and Friends.👏👏

🏐 Gaelic PE is back! 🔵🟡

Our Gaelic PE lessons with Enniskillen Gaels are up and running for the new school year.

KS1 and KS2 pupils have been enjoying their sessions with coaches Cathair and Eoghan, learning lots of new skills and having plenty of fun along the way.

The Ulster Youth Opera programme 2026/27 is now open for booking, providing FREE workshops on Thursday evenings for young people between the ages of 8 and 14. The sessions will begin in October and will be held in the Ardhowen's studio space on Thursday evenings between 5pm and 6.30pm.
The weekly sessions will be facilitated by a singer, actor and pianist and will work toward the Seamus Heaney Fables premiere at the Belfast Children's Festival 2027. These three brand new mini-operas have been specially commissioned by Ulster Touring Opera for this year's Youth Opera programme.
