It was absolutely wonderful to welcome past pupil and Commonwealth Games 2026 bronze medallist Ellie McCartney back to school today.

We are extremely proud of you, Ellie! Your hard work, dedication and commitment to the sport of swimming have truly paid off.

🏉 Rugby Taster Sessions 🏉

Are you a Year 8 joining ERGS in September?

Or moving into P7 in primary school and considering going to ERGS next year?

We are running two FREE rugby taster sessions on Wednesday 19th and Wednesday 26th August.

⭐️ Learn new skills
⭐️ Play fun games
⭐️ Make new friends
⭐️ Meet the coaches

These sessions are open to both boys and girls and you do not need to have any rugby experience to attend.

📍 Eisenhower Playing Fields, Castle Lane, Enniskillen, BT74 7EE

⏰ 6.30-7.30pm

No sign-up required, just turn up on one or both evenings. Children should wear suitable sports clothing and ideally wear football/rugby boots but if you do not have any then trainers is fine. Bring your own water bottles and a wet top just in case of poor weather.

We have had a wonderful few days at Summer Scheme, enjoying a wide range of activities including outdoor games, arts and crafts, singing, and music. It has also been a fantastic opportunity to make lots of new friends and create many happy memories together.

An end to another academic year. What a busy year it has been. Here are some photographs from our end of year assembly.

In this assembly we said goodbye to Mrs Livingstone in her retirement and Miss Bryne as she moves on with her career.

A special farewell to all our P7s. We will miss you and please come back and visit.

Well done to all the members of our school orchestra who performed so well at the P7 Leavers' Assembly, thank you for all your hard work throughout the year. Thank you to the peripatetic teachers who have prepared the children for their various performances, your support is much appreciated. Best wishes to our P7 members who are moving on to their new school in September.

P6R are tired 😴 and a little damp 🌧️ after an exciting morning exploring the Martello Tower at Magilligan Point, followed by a visit to Downhill to see Bishop’s Gate and Mussenden Temple 🏛️.

Despite the weather, spirits remained high —and we even caught a glimpse of a passing train 🚂, with the driver kindly sounding the horn 📣 as we waved 👋!

Hopefully, the last few days have created lasting memories for all of P6, along with plenty of learning 📚 and new experiences along the way.

Day 1 of our P6R Magilligan trip.

We didn’t let the damp weather hold us back! We enjoyed a ferry crossing to Greencastle, where we explored the rock pools and discovered some fascinating molluscs and crustaceans.

Afterwards, everyone had some free time around the centre before heading to Benone Beach for a lovely, relaxing evening. One highlight was when some of the girls attempted to bury Mr Robson in a huge hole they had dug—but thankfully, he made a full and safe escape! 😊 Now for a quiet night watching a movie before bed.
