Shay has been an exceptional student throughout the year and is a truly deserving recipient of Man of the Month. Pupils in KS3 Base started the new school year on a positive note and have been working hard, getting back into routine after the summer break.
We welcomed two new pupils, who got awards at their first Year 8 assembly, with our new Head of Key Stage 3 Mrs Campbell.
We also welcomed two new members of staff to the class, Mrs Murray and Mrs Prior, who have slotted into St Joseph's straight away. There were lovely cuddles the day one of the pupil’s dogs came to visit the Base.
Mr Murphy delivered an engaging session on Roald Dahl.
Thank you so much to Men's Shed for donating our new picnic table for the yard outside. The lovely weather recently has meant the boys can sit outside to eat, chat and do their work.
We are all looking forward to a great year ahead and have lots of fun activities lined up. 😃

Our school mass will take place this Tuesday 6th October. You are warmly invited to join us in St. Michael’s Chapel.

Please note: Pupils will be dismissed from the chapel after mass so please arrange collection/ taxis from there. Pupils will leave their school bags in school overnight so remember to pack for Tuesdays and Wednesdays classes.

Our year 12 Farming Club enthusiasts enjoyed a visit to Enniskillen Farmers Mart today, where they watched sales in the various rings.
The proper action though was in the drop-calf ring, with Matthew, Reece and Charlie all called upon to help out, while Mrs McGovern and Mrs Kehoe promptly put the cheque books away when the prices rose!
The boys were an absolute credit to the school and to their families, helping others, showing great manners and enjoying the craic with the farmers too. A great day out! 🚜🐄🧑‍🌾

We were joined in school yesterday by a special guest, Gavin Cassidy.

Our Man of the Month is someone whose positive energy lights up our whole classroom. He is a huge character with an even bigger heart—always making sure no one is left out, interacting with everyone, and throwing himself whole-heartedly into every challenge and opportunity that comes his way. We couldn't be prouder of the leader and teammate he is becoming every single day!


8SM Lorcan McGahey
This student is hardworking, polite and mannerly. He is highly respected by his classmates which was evident given the number of pupils who voted for him to be their class rep, following his fantastic speech. He has wholeheartedly involved himself in the wider school community by attending numerous clubs, such as darts, farming club and Gaelic. He is a great role model to all.
