Our final week 🏫
This past week has been very challenging as the staff have had to clear out our lovely school.
Kesh Primary School staff were amazed by our wealth of resources and wonderful equipment and furniture. The good news is that our children shall continue to benefit from these as they will now be used by Kesh Primary School.
We hope that our children have enjoyed their first week in their new school, wherever it may be.
I am sure that they will have made lots of new friends and we all look forward to hearing about your new adventures when we see you all out and about.
I am glad the school will continue to serve it's community as the FODC summer scheme will take place in Lack Primary School at the end of July. I hope lots of you will be there.
I will post a few photographs from recent years below.
Wishing everyone success and happiness in their new surroundings in September.
👋 Goodbye and God bless from all at Lack Primary School. We shall miss you all. Xx

Our final assembly. ❤️
On Thursday 19th June we held the final assembly at Lack Primary School.
It was lovely to be joined by pupils, staff, parents, governors and members of the PTFA.
We could not have achieved such success and had so much fun without the positive support of all of these people. The community spirit is always evident and it has been wonderful to work with people who are willing to do more than is asked for the good of the children and school. Thank you so much.
Thank you to those who contributed to the beautiful gifts, they shall be treasured.
The assembly was particularly special as we got a surprise visit from Canon Irwin, we were delighted to see him back at school and wish him a speedy recovery.
We also congratulated Miss Rankin on her upcoming wedding and wish her and David every happiness in their future together.
It was lovely spending the morning showing our appreciation and receiving such beautiful gifts.
Have a wonderful summer everyone.

The Mailshed Visit 🍧
A big thank you to Caroline, Clive and family for inviting the children down for a free treat during our final week of school.🥤☕️🧁
The children and staff were delighted, thank you so much for thinking of us.
A lot of the children already knew about all of the delicious treats in the Mail Shed.
Best wishes for continued success in your new business from all at Lack Primary School. ❤️

PSNI visit 🚔👮‍♂️
A big thank you to Constable Hart from the Erne North Neighbourhood Policing Team for coming out for one final visit to our children.
Constable Hart has been out to visit us many times. I am sure none of us will ever forget meeting the wonderful police dog that came too.🐕
Diane and I have been in handcuffs and Mrs McFarland and I can also testify how hard he can hit with the baton! No one was injured.
This time the children got to hear about being a police man and discover the types of equipment a police man uses.
Constable Hart was also kind enough to bring along an ice cream van for one final treat. 🍦
Thank you for all the wonderful visits over the years.

Lack Primary School's final day.
It is hard to believe that the 20th June 2025 marks the last day any child will ever be educated at Lack Primary School.
The village of Lack has had a school since 1818 and this year marked the 50th anniversary of the current school building.
The sun shone brightly as the children came to school and our PTFA were able to treat the children with one last ice cream van visit.
It has been a pleasure to be part of the history of Lack Primary School.
The school has wonderful pupils, staff, parents, PTFA, governors and a supportive community.
Thank you to all for the support and friendship over the years.
We wish the children well as they start their new schools next week and to the P7 children who are visiting their new schools as well.
You have been a pleasure to teach and care for, and we look forward to hearing about your new adventures. Don't forget to say hello.
Some more posts of the last days and weeks of Lack Primary School will be posted later.
With love and best wishes from all at Lack Primary School.❤️
