⭐ Opening of New 3G Facility ⭐

We are delighted to invite pupils, parents, families and members of the Derrylin and wider school community to the official opening of our new 3G facility at St. Ninnidh’s Primary School.
Thursday 5th February 2026 at 6.00pm
This is an open invitation, and we would love as many members of our community as possible to join us for this special occasion. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided, and there will be inflatables available for pupils to enjoy during the event.

💙THE SOD HAS BEEN TURNED!! 💚

💡Just over 2 years ago, the Parents Fundraising Group and a hugely motivated Principal had the wild idea of giving our kids a space where they could play games and enjoy the outdoors, something our fabulous school was lacking.

⚙️Fast forward two years… and with the huge effort and support of the parents and families of our school, the teachers, local businesses and the wider community, near and far, we are thrilled to announce that Prunty Contracts Ltd has been appointed to begin work on a state-of-the-art 3G pitch, commencing July 1st!

🏆Today, we welcomed GAA President Jarlath Burns to the school to turn the sod on what will be an amazing resource for our kids and the entire community!

🙏 A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed in any way, this would not have been possible without your generous support!
