๐ŸšYear 6 Big School Day ๐Ÿ“š
Our Year 6 pupils had a wonderful day at Castlederg High School today, giving them a fantastic experience of secondary school life.
Throughout the day, they took part in a wide range of subjects, completing practical activities and fun challenges in PE, History, Art, Technology & Design, Spanish, English, and Numeracy. The entire day was very well-organised, and the Year 6s thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They were also treated to a tasty break and lunch, which was a lovely bonus!
A big thank you to all the staff and pupils at Castlederg High School for leading the day and making us feel so welcome.
A special thank you goes to our very own guide, Lottie. It was lovely to see her return to KPS, and she did a brilliant job looking after our Year 6 pupils all day and guiding them around her new school.

๐Ÿ“ธ We even managed to beat the weather and snap a few quick photos before the rain started pouring! ๐ŸŒง๏ธ Check out our smiles below.๐Ÿ‘‡

๐ŸŽ“โšฝ A Special Day of Celebration for Our Year 7 Pupils โšฝ๐ŸŽ“

Today we marked a very special milestone as we celebrated our Year 7 pupils at their Leaversโ€™ Assembly.

Our pupils took to the stage with fantastic confidence, energy and enthusiasm, delivering excellent performances that made us all incredibly proud. It was a wonderful morning reflecting on and celebrating everything they have achieved during their time at Kesh Primary School.

This afternoon, the celebrations continued with a fun-filled football match between our Year 7 pupils and their parents. There was plenty of laughter, great sportsmanship and memorable moments, making it the perfect way to round off such a special day.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the pupils, staff and parents who helped make today such a success. We would also like to thank โ€˜The Wee Foosieโ€™ Coffee Cart for joining us at the football event and helping to make the afternoon even more enjoyable.

We are so proud of our Year 7 class and wish them every success and happiness as they begin their next chapter. We hope today will live long in the memory of our Y7 pupils and parents.๐ŸŒŸ

๐Ÿ† Class Cup Winners โ€“ Year 1/2 ๐Ÿ†

A huge well done to our Year 1/2 class for living out our focus on Respect and Responsibility this week! ๐ŸŒŸ
This week, weโ€™ve been celebrating pupils who:
โœ” Treat others with kindness and respect
โœ” Take care of classroom resources
โœ” Show responsibility for their own learning and actions

Itโ€™s fantastic to see such positive attitudes across the classroom โ€” keep it up! ๐Ÿ’›
Letโ€™s continue working together to create a respectful, responsible environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

โœจ โ€œDo the right thing, even when no one is watching.โ€

Last Friday, 12th June, Year 4 had their final Roots of Empathy (ROE) session with baby Florie and mummy Megan.
Over this academic year, Florieโ€”our littlest teacherโ€”has visited us during some ROE lessons. These sessions have taught us so much about the importance of empathy, attachment, and the special relationships between parents, children, and peers.
We have loved watching her grow and surprise us with new developments... but last Friday, she saved the best new skill for last: Florie walked! ๐ŸŽ‰
Thank you, Florie and Megan, for being such incredible teachers!
๐Ÿคซ Exciting News...
I am pleased to announce that we have already secured our new ROE baby "teacher" for next year! All will be revealed soon, as our new little helper isn't due to be born until the summer! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿผ
