On Friday 28th August, our new children and families are invited to visit Kesh Community Nursery, meet the team, explore the nursery environment and enjoy some fun play activities before their official start date.

🌍♻️ Let’s Fill the Bins This Summer! ♻️🌍

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our SchoolCycled bottle lids project so far. Your generosity is already making a real difference!

Last term, our Eco Team were delighted to order some lovely new furniture using the Earth Tokens we earned through your bottle lid donations. Now, we’d love to take it even further by adding more outdoor play equipment for our children—but we need your help!

Please keep saving your clean plastic bottle lids over the summer and bring them into school in September. Every 1kg of bottle lids earns 250 Earth Tokens, which can be exchanged for furniture and play equipment for our school.

Together, we can help the environment, reduce waste, and create even better spaces for our children to learn and play. 🌱

We're excited to announce the launch of 𝘕𝘍𝘊 𝘒𝘦𝘴𝘩 𝘓𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘒𝘪𝘤𝘬 & 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵 – a brand new, fun and relaxed weekly football session for women and girls looking to get active, meet new people and enjoy the game in a friendly, pressure-free environment.

Whether you've never kicked a ball before, used to play, or are still playing, everyone is welcome. Come along for the football, stay for the craic and the connection!

🔧✨ Celebrating Creativity and Engineering at Kesh Primary School ✨🔧

Delighted to share some photos from our assembly in May, where pupils celebrated their fantastic work as part of the “If I Were an Engineer” competition 👏
Each child had the opportunity to present and explain their design to the whole school – we were so impressed by the creativity, problem-solving and confidence shown by all involved 💡

A special well done to all of our pupils who took part, including those recognised at a wider level for their achievements. We are incredibly proud of you all! 🌟

🌟 Sports Day Winners – Celebrated in Assembly 🌟
We were delighted to celebrate our Sports Day winners in assembly yesterday – a fantastic achievement for all involved!
This year’s event was a brilliant showcase of effort, determination and sportsmanship right across the school. Our winners performed exceptionally well and were thoroughly deserving of their medals and certificates.
We are incredibly proud of all of our pupils for the way they took part, encouraged one another and represented the school so positively throughout the day.
Thank you to our staff and families for their continued support – days like this really highlight the spirit of Kesh Primary School and Community Nursery.

🍕☀️ Year 7 Pizza Party ☀️🍕

As part of their final week of primary school, our Year 7 pupils enjoyed a very special pizza party after winning a competition run by Dough and Arrow on Facebook.

The children had the chance to spend some time outdoors in the sunshine while enjoying some delicious freshly made pizza. It was a wonderful way to celebrate together and create some lasting memories before they move on to the next stage of their education.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Dough and Arrow for their incredible generosity and kindness in providing this prize for the whole class. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed every slice!
