A fantastic final day in Berlin! ☀️
This morning, the boys enjoyed an outdoor swimming pool with water slides before heading to the Mall of Berlin for lunch. We then finished our trip with the excellent Under the Berlin Wall tour, learning more about Berlin's fascinating history.
We are now on our way to the airport after a memorable few days of learning, sightseeing and fun. The boys have been a credit to the school throughout and have represented us brilliantly.

Generation Nature
Students from St. Michaels College participated alongside young people from St. Kevin's College, Lisnaskea, St. Joseph's College & Enniskillen Royal Grammar School, Enniskillen, St. Bricin's College and Breifne College, Cavan creating a unique cross-border learning experience that brought together young people from different schools and communities.
The young people successfully completed over 30 hours of environmental learning, leadership development and conservation action, achieving both the John Muir Award and Leave No Trace Certification.
While the environmental and conservation elements of the programme were important, one of the most rewarding aspects was seeing the young people develop confidence and leadership over the eight weeks. Through a youth-led approach, participants helped shape conservation projects, worked together to address local environmental challenges, and developed practical skills that enabled them to make a positive contribution to their communities.
The programme also provided a valuable space for young people to explore interests beyond traditional activities. It encouraged them to connect with nature, develop new friendships, build social capital, and engage with peers who shared similar interests and values. Many participants formed lasting friendships and developed a greater sense of belonging, confidence and purpose through the experience.
Please note: Arjun Krishna Anilkumar is not included in the attached photographs, as he was unable to attend the celebration event.

Another excellent day in Berlin has come to an end.
After a busy morning exploring Berlin zoo, the afternoon provided some time for shopping and exploring the city before we headed to the Reichstag this evening.
The visit to the Reichstag Dome and Roof Terrace gave the boys the opportunity to learn more about Germany's parliament while enjoying spectacular views across Berlin as the sun began to set. It was a fitting way to finish a day that combined culture, history and fun.
