⚽️⚽️ Good morning guys we hope everyone is enjoying some of the good weather that we are getting ( hopefully we get a lot more over the next few months 🤞🤞🌞🌞)

⚽️⚽️ Guys we have been getting messages regarding this summers soccer school and we thought we would put a post up here now to explain something to everyone at the same time

😢 😢 It’s with a heavy heart that both Mark and Cab will not be doing soccer school this summer. As most of you will know Mark has just announced his retirement from football and has been added to the Management team at his club Ballinmallard. After what has been a long tough season travelling the country every weekend he now feels it’s time to spend a little family time with his wife and 2 girls ❤️❤️

⚽️⚽️ Cab has a long list of tournaments and competitions lying ahead this summer with his own club Irvinestown wanderers. Both guys feel that they simply couldn’t give the boys the same time and effort that they give last summer.

⚽️⚽️However any player or parent that would like any help from either of the 2 guys please feel free to contact them on their mobile phones or by private message. It IS NOT THE END of the soccer school it is just a summer off so that family ties and other commitments can come first for a change in the lives of 2 busy guys.

❤️❤️ Finally a big thanks to all parents and players for your support and understanding and we look forward to catching up with everyone sooner rather than later. Best wishes Mark and Cab 👍👍

🟡⚫️ Good afternoon guys hopefully everyone has enjoyed the good spell of weather we have had recently ( we were due it to be fair ☀️ ☀️ ☀️)

☔️ ☔️ 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️Unfortunately it gives bad weather tomorrow some 🌩️ ⛈️ and 🌧️ 🌧️

⚽️⚽️ We had planned to run the soccer school until the end of the month but with the weather on the turn and kids back playing football with their clubs we have decided that now is a good time to take a break until February returns. This gives players time with their clubs and also gives mums and dads time to spend with their families on a Sunday for a few months.

👏👏 Can we both thank each parent/ player for their FANTASTIC SUPPORT from day one since we started. We will both be back in February with new ideas and plans for the soccer school which will HOPEFULLY include a tournament in England.

⚽️⚽️ Our 2012 group is very strong and something we are very proud of. We would like to add a few more 2011 players to an already exciting group which would enable us to enter a solely 2011 team in summer tournaments.

🟡⚫️ Also our 2013-14 squad could do with a few additions so if your child has enjoyed his time at soccer school please feel free to let them spread the word.

🟡⚫️ youngest group 2-3pm and 3-4pm for the older groups. This will be the last month of soccer school before we take our winter break as BKYL games will resume shortly and boys will have a lot on with their respective club teams 🟡⚫️

🟡⚫️ Our 2012 boys represented the soccer school very well today. After 3 draws 0-0 and a 1-0 win in our group games we qualified for the second cup competition. In that semi final we played “playing for the future academy” we came out on the right side of a 1-0 win and got into the final. In the group stages we beat Glentoran (A) 1-0 with a goal from Luke Brown. However in the final we unfortunately came out on the wrong side of a 1-0 score line. Only conceding 1 goal all day was very impressive from the young lads and they will come on leaps and bounds for the experience. A special mention to 2 young players we had today. Brody Boylan (2014player) and Bobby Funtson (2013 player) both of these young lads done super today considering their age and inexperience 👏👏 Finally a big congratulations to soccer school player Kristian Lynsey. Kristian played for portadown today and went on to help the lads win the main cup competition well done Kristian 👏👏👍👍⚽️⚽️🏆🏆

⚽️⚽️ A wee reminder that coaching for 2013-14-15-16 boys is open to attend this afternoon at 6-7pm at the Lakeland forum it’s £5 per player. Mark will take this hour

🟡⚫️ Our 2012 boys train at 7-8pm in preparation for their upcoming tournament this Sunday in Bangor. Any 2011 players that would like a session are more than welcome to attend. It’s also £5 per player. Cab will take this hour as he will be bringing the boys to the tournament on Sunday.

🟡⚫️ Just a wee reminder guys that there is NO COACHING TODAY as I’m away with the 2012 group to Belfast. 👍👍⚽️⚽️

🟡⚫️ Wishing our 2012 boys the best of luck tomorrow morning. The boys will be in bed early tonight ( I’m hoping so anyway ) as they will be leaving at 7-30 tomorrow morning to compete in the “Minnie Morrison Memorial” tournament.

⚽️⚽️ 9 young men that are working hard week in week out on improving their game and working up through the levels required to get to play in competitions such as this.

🏆 🏆 Irvinestown Wanderers are the only team to ever take the trophy out of Belfast when they won it last year. Here’s hoping the boys can go and put in a good display of football and whatever the results come away from it a better player for the experience

👏👏 Can we just say thanks to everyone who attended this years soccer camp. We hope everyone had a great time as we both really enjoyed it ourselves.

⚽️⚽️ Football isn’t quite over for the year though just yet. Behind the scenes we are trying to get another day out for the 2013-14 team and also game/s for the youngest groups⚽️⚽️

🟡⚫️ Our 2011 and 2012 teams have tournaments coming up on the 13th and 20th of this month so we’d like to see as many of those as possible on Sunday in preparation for these tournaments 🟡⚫️

⚽️⚽️ Hopefully 🤞 🤞 by Sunday we can give the other lads a confirmed date for friendly matches which will help them immensely on their footballing journey⚽️⚽️
