Willowbridge School 2025-26

It has been a busy week in 1R ! As well as working on our individual targets, we have explored our new topic on Wild Animals through our sensory story and Attention Autism activities. We have been learning about the core words ' same and 'different' through practical activities, enjoyed music and movement with Denise and Jo Jingles, and had great fun in Soft play!

Our final Day at the Share Centre included Laser tag and dry clay modelling. We have had a brilliant time and made lots of memories over the past few days For some it was the first time away from home and trying new things . Well done everyone !

It was a busy Day 2 at the Share Centre. We enjoyed wall climbing, and archery, had great fun at the waterpark, had a trip on the speedboat and then foosball. We finished off with a disco by our own DJ Mark!

A fantastic day at our Teddy Bears’ Picnic at Willowbridge. It’s was a roaring success and many thanks to Choice Housing for the support. We loved every minute of it

A huge thank you to Derek Ryan who called to school yesterday with a donation of £1370, following his Beat in the Heat Tour. Derek is pictured below with some of our pupils, Mrs. Gray and our Chair of the Board of Governors, Philomena Cleary . Thankyou Derek !

As part of our Kindness day activities, our school choir visited the Grann Nursing home to sing for some of the residents. It was a wonderful morning for everyone

Today we celebrated Kindness Day in school. As well as lots of our favourite activities and pampering in the classroom, we had a visit from Corbally Fun Farm, and as you can see some of us were very brave ! We got treated to an ice cream and ended the day with a disco with our very own DJ Mark, A fantastic day full of kindness.
Many thanks for all the donations, which will be donated to the NI Children's Hospice.
