🩵 Dear Parents/Carers🩵
In light of the recent advert from the Government/Department for Education advertising a new wave of school nusery places I felt it was important to get in touch.
Please let me reassure you, they are not re-inventing the wheel! As they might like you to think.
* We will save you £7500, as we do not charge extra for funded hours.
* We accept children from 1-4 years old, with 15 and 30 hour funding codes, as well as fee paying.
* We also offer flexibility around ALL parents, not just for working parents and add ad hoc sessions and lunches as required.
* We also get children school/reception class ready.
* We also ensure a smooth transition to school reception, working with you as parents and carers to prepare the children, and inviting EACH AND EVERY school on the list into nursery to visit your child.
* We also provide high-quality childcare, giving your child the best start in life.
* We also offer breakfast club, although it us for a small fee as we are not included in the Government Programme. We do it as part of our parent partnership.
So why choose us i hear you ask. Well, caring for children under 5 requires a completely different set of skills that are developed over many years. In my nursery, we have a combined total of 92 years worth of experience, caring for and educating children.
We not only provide a caring, secure, nurturing and educational setting for child, but we do our best to be there for you, our families too. Our open door policy means we are always there for a chat when you need it.
We try to provide a home from home experience, we know with young children, it's not just about what they learn in terms of education, it's about feeling safe, settled and cared for, then comes the learning.
We also keep our ratios higher than schools for 3 and 4 year olds. We always have 1 staff member to every 8 children, as a maximum, schools will only have 2 members of staff for 26 children. Begging the question, what will happen when a nappy needs changing? How will they cope when a child is physically sick and they have to clean the child, change their clothes, comfort the child, call the parents, keep the other children entertained and clean the area?
On top of all this, we will all be working towards EXACTLY THE SAME EYFS GOALS.
Clearly I'm.biased, but after 22 years in childcare, I think we do it better.
I hope you do too.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
