🌟 Free Baby Stay & Play at Splash 🌟

Every Friday from 9:30 to 10:30am, we're opening our doors for a Baby Stay and Play session here at Splash Day Nursery and Preschool.

It's a lovely chance for babies and their grown ups to enjoy some gentle play, sensory fun and relaxed time together, all in a warm and welcoming space.

Spaces are limited, so do call or email us to confirm your place. We'd love to welcome you along!

We’re so excited to share that from September, we’ll be partnering with to introduce Spanish lessons at our nursery! 🇪🇸💛

Learning a new language from a young age can bring so many wonderful benefits. It can support communication skills, build confidence, strengthen memory and encourage cognitive development, while also helping children develop curiosity about the wider world and an appreciation of different cultures.

Our Spanish sessions will be carefully integrated into our curriculum, making language learning fun, engaging and age appropriate. Through songs, games and interactive activities, children will have the opportunity to develop their early language skills while learning through play.

And just as we have our Phonics Champion supporting early reading, we’ll also have a dedicated Mini Lingos Champion to inspire and nurture a love of language learning throughout the setting.

We can’t wait to see the children enjoy this wonderful new opportunity and discover the joy of learning Spanish! 💛

Big Adventures, Little Feet – Open Day ✨

Our Big Adventures, Little Feet Open Day was a wonderful opportunity for children and their families to spend time together exploring, discovering and having fun at the nursery. Our classroom was transformed into an exciting adventure space, filled with inviting activities and opportunities for little explorers to use their imaginations.

It was lovely to see parents joining in alongside their children as they explored different areas, tried new experiences and shared special moments together. From creative and sensory experiences to imaginative play and hands-on exploration, there was something for every little adventurer to enjoy.

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make the day so special. Seeing the children proudly show their parents around and enjoy these experiences together made our Big Adventures, Little Feet Open Day truly memorable. 🌟

Little Explorers, Wonderful Family Adventures!

Splash children and their families had a wonderful opportunity to visit London Zoo, creating a special day filled with excitement, exploration and discovery! 🦓🦒 The children enjoyed walking around the zoo, spotting amazing animals such as zebras and giraffes, and taking in all the sights and sounds around them. With their tiny cameras in hand, they also enjoyed capturing some of their favourite moments and making memories along the way.

It was lovely to see our nursery, children and families coming together and enjoying this special experience. Our partnership with parents plays such an important role in supporting children’s learning and development, and experiences like this give children opportunities to explore the world beyond the nursery, share discoveries with their loved ones and learn through real-life experiences.

A beautiful family adventure filled with curious minds, happy hearts and lots of wonderful memories! 🐾

🌈 Rainbow Messy Play Magic! 🌈

Our little explorers had a wonderful time diving into a rainbow-themed messy play tray! 🎨🌈 The children explored a rainbow of bright colours using different tools, scoops, jugs, brushes and natural materials, making marks, mixing colours and discovering new ways to create. They enjoyed talking about the colours they could see while singing “I Can Sing a Rainbow” together. 🎶

The rainbow adventure continued with creative painting, giving the children the opportunity to paint pinecones using beautiful rainbow colours. 🌲🌈 Each pinecone became a unique little creation as the children made their own colour choices and experimented with paint.

A lovely experience full of sensory exploration, creativity, colour recognition, fine motor development and lots of happy learning through play! 💕✨

The classroom was truly glowing with rainbow magic! 🌈🎨
