We have some very exciting news! 🎉

Our lovely morning at Forty Hall 🦆

Today we had lots of fun cleaning Claire’s car 🧼

🐵 MONKEY • PUZZLE 🐵 We went on an adventure to help the monkey find his mum! We first had to make some binoculars, and then we met our butterfly! She helped us search for the mother monkey but we bumped into lots of other animals along the way!

🐻 BRUNO 🐻 As most of you know my name is Bruno Bear. I love going on adventures with my nursery friends. It’s great seeing what you all get up to when you’re not at nursery and I love being a part of that! If you have any exciting days out, holidays or just fancy some extra company please just ask the staff at nursery and I would be happy to come and stay with you - I look forward to making many more memories with you all 🤎

BUILDING OUR OWN WEIGHTS The children were given a selection of different sized poles, some foam bricks and was then shown how to make a weight. When it was their turn they got to choose what size pole they wanted and how many bricks to add on. Then they had the task of lifting it up to do some exercises!

Thank you to our dedicated staff for giving up another evening to complete another workshop. We pride ourselves on training our staff continuously to be the best they can be everyday ✨

We went on an exciting adventure; we got to experience a hen den. We started off by meeting our friends from Crew Hill Nursery who kindly let us see their chickens. Our friends told us about how they feed, collect, and look after their chickens. We also fed and collected 8 eggs from them! It was exciting and fun; we can’t wait to go back 🐓

Football in the park with homemade football tops. They did some penalty shoot outs and then played a game together, we even got some goals in!
Our baby friends loved their trip to the local sandpit recently too 🩵

This morning we went to the library! We walked to the bus top making sure we cross the roads safely. Once we got to the library we had a some snack. After having some snack we went inside making sure to use our quiet voices in the library. Once we picked a few books we sat in a lovely circle and some new friends came and joined us in the circle and read some books together. We played in the library joined in drawing and some shopping. We measured our Heights! After the library we had a few races and made our way back to nursery❤️

Another wonderful day of being outdoors - following our ‘sports’ theme we decided to create our own sports day. We took turns, we praised our friends & most importantly learnt new skills 🏆

Today some of our friends took a little trip to the local market to buy some fruits for us to have for snack 🍓

Another group of friends enjoyed exploring HillyFields & we have many more outings planned for everyone over the next few weeks 🌳

Today we visited some of our Elderly friends and read stories with them

Alisha surprised the management team with a lovely tapas selection for International Tapas Day which the baby room also thoroughly enjoyed for snack ♥️

This morning we joined our siblings in baby room for a trip to the park! We arrived and had some yummy snack, then jetted off to the playground where we explored all different equipment to support our physical development!

We have really shown a keen interest in our growing garden this spring so we decided to add a special gardening work bench for us to practice our seeding skills and encourage our physical development in different ways.

Thank you to all our Daddies that came, our baby room even did a spontaneous ‘What’s in the bag’ at the request of some of our little ones!

This morning we learnt how to peel and cut bananas on our chopping board using own food cutters.

(All food was monitored and appropriately cut before serving to the babies.)

Introducing Scribble Spot!
The Emotion Spots are designed to inspire everyone to develop an understanding of their feelings and emotions. Each colour represents a feeling/emotion with a very catchy song to help visualise the different feelings. We are going to be speaking about our emotions on a daily basis and using the colours to describe our feeling.

✨Training Day ✨
We are always looking for new ways to train our staff to ensure their knowledge & skills are always refreshed. This allows them to deliver wonderful care & teaching every day 📝

This afternoon we went over to the vegetable garden where we used our safe scissors to cut some mint herbs. We then washed the mint in the bowl with water using a spoon. We then added the mint in the fresh water, and poured the jug in our cups. We had a lovely conversation wondering how it tastes.
