Forever grateful for my job however we must all find the right balance in life 🤍✨

When I first started working in childcare, my days were so long — I was working from 7am until 8:30 at night, 6 days a week, trying to keep up with planning activities, cleaning, organising, and still having some sort of life outside of work.

I absolutely love what I do, but I knew I needed better balance, so I started creating simple systems and reusable activity resources that made my days less stressful and more manageable.

Now I work 8am–6pm Monday to Thursday and finish at 4pm on Fridays, and honestly it’s changed everything for me because I can still do the job I love without feeling constantly burnt out.

Boat transport + numbers + ducks + pipettes + jugs = the ultimate hands-on learning setup 🚤🦆🔢
