Today has been a wonderful day of celebration at Bishop Laney Sixth Form as our students received their post-16 results. 🎉

We are incredibly proud of every student and of the hard work, determination and commitment that has brought them to this point. From outstanding A Level and BTEC results to exciting next steps, our students are now heading off to universities including Durham, Leicester and UEA, beginning degree-level apprenticeships locally, taking gap years to gain further experience, and embarking on many other exciting pathways.

These results represent so much more than grades — they are the beginning of the next chapter in each student’s journey. We wish all of our leavers every success as they take their talents, ambitions and experiences with them into the future.

A huge thank you also goes to our dedicated staff and families for the support they have given our students along the way. ❤️

And to our Year 13 leavers: 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵! Once a Bishop Laney student, always part of our community. We would love to hear about your adventures, achievements and journeys in the years ahead, and to follow all that you go on to accomplish as part of our alumni community.

Earlier this week, our Year 12 students participated in our Sixth Form Progression Day. The event combined career talks, networking, and mock interviews with local employers to help our young people develop essential employability skills.
