Number bonds to 10
If your child is moving into Year 1 this year they are going to be doing loads of learning to support their knowledge of number bonds to 10 (translated that means two numbers that add together to equal 10).

You can help at home using an egg box like this which (weirdly) held 10 eggs: a ready made 10s frame for you! Amazing, thanks supermarket! Grab yourself ten small items and a ten sided sided die (or you could use the numbers 1-10 from a pack of cards) and ta da you have yourself a speedy game with minimal set up.

Quick recall of number bonds to ten helps with lots of trickier maths down the line so it's really worth supporting this.
