βοΈ June update:
It's been a scorching β and very busy β month for our club! Read on for all the latest, and a warm welcome to anyone thinking about giving Tang Soo Do a try.
π₯ Training through the heatwave:
This week's heat hasn't stopped us β but it has meant ditching the full Doboks in favour of something a little lighter! Training carried on with plenty of sweaty enthusiasm, and we had one very dedicated Tiny Tiger showing up in their Tang Soo Do T-shirt ready to train. β€οΈ
π World Championships prep:
With the WTSDA World Championships in Schaumburg, Chicago just weeks away, our team have been pushing hard. This Saturday, Will, Philippa, Susie, Nathan and Rich joined the rest of the GB squad for a joint training session β great preparation and a real boost ahead of the big event. We'll be cheering them on! π¬π§
πΊπΈ WTSDA US Master Clinic:
Senior instructors Master Gaynor Russell and Master Robert Russell also recently returned from the USA, where they joined KCN Khan and fellow senior masters from around the world at the WTSDA US Master Clinic, spending a full week training at the highest level. It's brilliant to have that experience and knowledge feeding straight back into our club sessions.
π½ Gup Grading:
A number of our coloured belt students took part in their grading in St Ives, demonstrating their techniques and knowledge to earn their next belt. A big well done to everyone who graded β and as always, thank you to our Dan grades who gave up their time to help organise and run the day.
π₯ Monthly Cho Dan & Cho Dan Bo session:
Rounding off the month, our Dan grades join KCN Khan and fellow masters today for their monthly Cho Dan and Cho Dan Bo training session β a regular fixture that keeps our senior students sharp and connected to the wider WTSDA family.
π₯ Thinking of joining us?
