Sambist Fighting Academy

Today, the British Open Combat Sambo Championship took place in Doncaster.
Our academy was represented by just one athlete — Luke. After a two-year break from training following knee surgery, Luke found the strength and determination to return to competition and represent our academy with pride.
We are incredibly proud of him for stepping back onto the mat and giving his best. Luke managed to win a bronze medal, and we would like to express our huge appreciation and respect to him for his commitment, courage and determination. 🥉
A special thank you also goes to the organisers from Doncaster for hosting and running this excellent event.

From Sport Sambo to Combat Sambo: Adapting Your Skills for New Challenges

On August 4, Oleg and Alex invite all sambo practitioners to a practical seminar focused on the fundamentals and unique aspects of Combat Sambo.

Seminar topics include:
🔹 Adapting Sport Sambo techniques to the demands of Combat Sambo
🔹 Training methods and practical drills
🔹 An overview of the official rules and competition format of Combat Sambo
🔹 Q&A session and correction of common technical mistakes

This seminar is ideal for athletes who want to transition into Combat Sambo, as well as for coaches looking to expand their knowledge and coaching methods.
