WE ARE RECRUITING - PERSONAL ASSISTANT

We are looking for a Personal Assistant to the Director to join our team with an immediate start.

The Personal Assistant will support our Director in the professional and personal realms by taking on administrative duties as well as tasks relating to managing the Director's home and family life.

This is a term-time only position, split across four or five days. The specific days and hours will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

JOIN OUR TEAM - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Trefoil Tutors are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team.

The role is key to supporting the leadership team, staff, our students and their parents and involves acting as a first point of contact via all communication channels, including email correspondence, phone calls, internal and external communication systems; creating and proofreading documentation; and a variety of administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will be an approachable and organised individual with attention to detail and a proactive attitude. Experience in an administrative role is required.

We offer fixed hours, a dynamic working environment as part of an office team and versatility that will allow the candidate to experience various aspects of working in an established and growing company. The position is offered with an immediate start for 43 weeks a year (during term-time).

As the new academic year approaches, we know many parents will be looking to support their child’s learning with the help of a tutor. With no regulatory body overseeing tutoring, it has become increasingly harder for parents to find qualified, experienced and professional tutors.
To help parents navigate the process of finding the right tutor for your child, our Senior Tutor, Vivek Gathani, has shared his advice and outlined four important guidelines to follow in the process: academic qualifications, safeguarding provisions, teacher training and insurance.

Over the last decade, we’ve seen tutoring evolve from “going to someone’s house and working through a textbook” to becoming a profession in itself. It is important that parents are aware that there are some outstanding tutors offering professional services to augment and support the work done by classroom practitioners.

At Trefoil Tutors, we work with a team of outstanding teachers and experienced tutors to help augment and support children’s education and development alongside the teaching they receive at school. With our academic year starting next week, we look forward to welcoming 300 new and returning students to our classrooms!

FINAL AVAILABLE PLACES FOR LESSONS IN THE AUTUMN TERM

As the deadline for Priority Registration has now passed, we are delighted to have registered over 250 students to our Mathematics, English, Science, Reasoning and Chemistry lessons for the Autumn Term.

At Trefoil Tutors, we are incredibly proud of the quality of teaching and learning we deliver across a range of different subjects. In our small group lessons, our team of qualified teachers and experienced tutors aim to augment and support the work done by schools. Students are taught according to a structured scheme of work and are given weekly homework assignments and regular assessments which are all prepared in-house by our tutors, with weekly individual feedback provided to parents via our personalised online portal.

A far cry away from traditional one-to-one tuition, our lessons take place in purpose-built classrooms in our Elstree office where tutors are supported by a full-time administrative team to ensure they can spend their time teaching. All our tutors are qualified teachers or experienced tutors who are subject specialists and have been DBS checked, fully insured and have attended safeguarding courses run at Trefoil Tutors. These are the standards expected at top schools in the country and we firmly believe tutors should hold themselves to the same standards.

As we prepare for the new academic year, a small number of places are still available in our group lessons. If you feel that your son or daughter would benefit from specialist tuition in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Science or Reasoning, please do get in touch. Please note that places are offered to students on our waiting list and then allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

LAST WEEK OF GROUP LESSONS THIS ACADEMIC YEAR

We would like to remind students and parents that this is the final week of group lessons as the Summer Term comes to an end on Sunday, the 19th July. After the break, students in Years 4, 5, 11 and 12 will return to the classroom on Monday, the 10th of August for Summer Lessons while all other group lessons will resume on Monday, the 7th of September.

We look forward to seeing everyone for their final lessons this week and wrapping up the academic year together!
