A very well deserved congratulations to Marc, who has just passed his PPL test and is now officially an "Officially Awesome Pilot".

Quietly getting on with it since March 2022, Marc has chipped away at his licence around work, life and everything else that gets in the way. No fuss, no shortcuts, just steady progress and a consistently positive attitude.

That kind of commitment deserves recognition. Becoming a pilot is a big achievement, and earning a PPL while fitting it around everyday life makes this one particularly special.

A huge congratulations, Marc, on a well deserved licence and a fantastic achievement. We’re delighted to have been part of the journey and can’t wait to see where flying takes you next.

Rayyan changed training schools to speed up the process and managed to complete his full MEIR in 1 month and 25 days. An amazing achievement and well deserved rating! Congratulations Rayyan! Congratulations to Ryan, who has completed his MEP, CPL and MEIR in just over two and a half months with us!

Ryan has worked extremely hard throughout his training and has been a pleasure to have around the office. Over the last few months he has become part of the family here, so while we are very pleased to see him finish his training, we will definitely miss having him around.

He has put a huge amount of work into getting to this point and thoroughly deserves the opportunities that come next. From what we have heard about his plans, it sounds like he has some very exciting things ahead.

Well done Ryan. We wish you all the best for whatever comes next and look forward to seeing where it takes you.

Last-minute A-UPRT Course availability!

Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (A-UPRT) Course2 places available
27th–29th August 2026

We’ve got two places left on our next A-UPRT course, running from 27th–29th August at Flight Training London at London Elstree Aerodrome. These dates are very last minute, so if you’re looking to get your A-UPRT completed soon, this could be a great opportunity.

We’re really pleased to be running this second set of A-UPRT course dates, following some fantastic feedback from the students who completed our first course this week.
As this is a new course for us, it’s been great to see the first group enjoy the training and come away with such positive feedback.

The course will be conducted by the amazing Chris Kingswood, bringing his experience and expertise to the training over the three days with just three students, so no massive groups making is so much more personable than other courses.

The introductory price is £1,495, which includes a minimum of 3 hours flying and 5 hours of ground school.
