The nursery that goes over and beyond 💛

We are an Ofsted Outstanding nursery, but for us, it’s never been about the rating, it’s about the children.

Going over and beyond is just what we do. Whether it’s celebrating the little wins, creating exciting learning experiences, or being there with a cuddle when it’s needed, we put our hearts into every single day.

We’re so lucky to be part of each child’s journey and to build such lovely relationships with our families. Seeing our children happy, confident and excited to learn is what it’s all about.

Thank you to our amazing team and wonderful families for being part of what makes our nursery so special. We couldn’t do it without you. 💛✨

Come and spend the day with us… 💚

We started the day with a walk, stopping to look at anything that caught our eye along the way. Then, we popped to the shops to pick up everything we needed for our picnic before enjoying lunch together in the sunshine. Such a lovely day. 🌿☀️

Graduation 2026 🤠🎓🫧🍦

We don’t think our parents expected this 😂 but it was the perfect way to celebrate. Cowboy hats, bubble guns, an ice cream van, and lots of laughs. Couldn’t have asked for a better send-off. 🤍✨

Our graduation day was one to remember! We couldn’t be prouder of our little graduates and everything they’ve achieved. Thank you to all our wonderful families for celebrating with us. We have so many special moments to share, so here’s the first of many. 💜

🎨✨ Little hands, big imaginations!

Every brushstroke is a chance for our children at Tots and Scholars Nursery to explore, create and express through painting. Not only are they able to build confidence, develop creativity, but most importantly, have lots of fun along the way. 😬💛

A Curious Mind Begins Outdoors 🌿

There is something truly magical about seeing the world through a child’s eyes. This week, our little explorers slowed down to notice the tiny details that often go unseen, examining flowers through magnifying glasses, blowing dandelion seeds, searching for natural treasures, and using binoculars to look a little further. Every question, every discovery, and every smile reminded us that curiosity is at the heart of our teaching here at Tots and Scholars.

These outdoor experiences support the our learning around Understanding the World, while we also develop our communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, and physical development. Our children develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Sometimes, the greatest adventures begin with simply taking a closer look. 🌼🔍

What a fantastic day we’ve had at Tots and Scholars Nursery! ☀️

With the weather being so hot, we wanted to make sure everyone stayed cool and comfortable. We got the hose out and the children absolutely loved running through the water, splashing, laughing and having lots of fun together. It was wonderful to see so many happy smiles as they enjoyed cooling down and making the most of the sunshine.

We hope they come home with lots of happy stories to tell about their fun filled day! 💙
