Another step forward for KR SkillsHub as we become an approved member of the CITB Training Provider Network (TPN).

As part of the CITB TPN, we're joining a network of quality-assured training providers to deliver training that helps people build the skills they need to progress in construction.

SAMH are running the Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) on the 9th and 10th of September in Aberdeen.

ASIST is a two-day, interactive workshop designed to equip participants with the skills and confidence to support someone who may be experiencing thoughts of su***de. The training focuses on recognising signs of distress, engaging in supportive conversations, and helping individuals access appropriate help and resources.

This course is suitable for anyone who wants to build practical skills in mental health support, regardless of prior experience.

Another successful NPORS Slinger Signaller course completed at KRHQ 👏

Throughout the course our candidates learned how to:

• Safely sling and signal loads
• Communicate clearly with crane operators
• Understand lifting plans and risk assessments
• Identify hazards and maintain site safety at all times

Through practical and theory work, candidates receive an NPORS Certification card valid for 5 years - a widely recognised qualification across construction sites.
