Our S3 Graphic Communication class have been working in partnership with one of Altrad's Principal Designers to design and 3D model potential anti vibration solutions for offshore platform pipework. Each group has been given a different pipeline and key information to help steer them towards effective solutions. Altrad will be running simulation testing on the final ideas in a few weeks, we'll keep you posted!

We set our S2 Monday and Tuesday classes the challenge of designing and building a weight bearing structure out of snow; some fantastic examples handed in so far, including a snowman igloo that can hold the weight of three people! Keep them coming folks, great to see that engineering can be fun even in this crazy weather!

Our S3 classes have been enjoying some festive creativity this week, swipe for some adorable turned trees and snowmen, and some Lego inspired CAD assemblies!

April's pupils of the month are live! We have offered the usual Senior position to our S3s, who in the absence of the S4-6 pupils have really stepped up to set some great examples of effort, dedication and patience to our junior classes. Great efforts folks!
