We’re looking for a new Dance leader to join the HMTS team!

We need someone with a real love for Musical Theatre to work with our Tuesday evening MT Development Class in Tarves.

This class is all about helping our young performers build confidence, develop their performance skills and, most importantly, enjoy being on stage. We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, encouraging and able to bring Musical Theatre choreography to life in a fun and supportive way.

If you’re passionate about dance, love Musical Theatre and think you could be a good fit for HMTS, we’d love to hear from you.

SPONSORS WANTED – Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.
Our HMTS Junior Production Class has started its journey towards performing Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. on the Haddo stage in July 2027.
We’re looking for local businesses and individuals who would like to come on that journey with us and help make the magic happen.
Sponsorship helps towards the huge costs of putting on a full-scale production, including performance rights, costumes, scenery, props, sound, lighting and staging.
But you’re supporting much more than a show. You’re helping young people build confidence, friendships, resilience and memories that will last long after the curtain comes down.

We’re BACK tonight! 🎭

Our Development Class returns this evening at Kirk Hall in Tarves, from 18.00–19.30.

This term we’re focusing on Finding Your Stage — helping our young performers build confidence, discover what they can do and start finding their own voice and style on stage.
We’ll be exploring singing, dancing, acting, stagecraft and drama games, while building confidence, self-esteem, courage and teamwork along the way.

Tonight also marks the start of something new, with the class being led by our new teaching team, Vicky and Ava.

A new term, a new team and lots of opportunities to grow.

Hi everyone hope your all enjoying your summer holiday, if you are still interested in coming back make sure you re sign up to the dance class which I will attach the link to this post
We will be starting back on the 21st of August and the class will be from 4-5:30pm, at the youth hall in Tarves.

Any girls or boys who are joining and are also joining the HMTS junior class Graham will be aware of you all coming a few minutes late but by the time the class gets started you won’t be missing anything
The first few classes will just be us getting our bodies back from such a long break but we will be starting a new style of dance which will be tap 😝You will need tap shoes which you can get on Amazon, vinted or any dance uniform website it’s up too you. I will post in advance when we will be focusing on tap so you don’t have to bring them along with you every week
I really hope to see a lot of familiar faces along with some new. Enjoy the last few days of your holidays can’t wait to hear what you have all been up too

🎭 HMTS TERM 1 IS ALMOST HERE! 🎭

After a very busy summer at HMTS, we’re getting ready to kick off Term 1 next week and we honestly can’t wait!

We’re so excited to welcome our returning students back, and a huge welcome to all of the new faces joining the HMTS family. ❤️

Here’s a look at the classes we’re currently running:

Tuesday
6.00pm – 7.30pm
Development Class | Ages 8–16
This class is an excellent introduction to Musical theatre, and provides access to Trinity college Arts awards and Musical Theatre Exams.

Tiny Talents | Ages 4–7 An age appropriate intro to Musical theatre from littles. Learning stage craft, drama games, singing and dance, and working towards a small presentation.

🧜‍♀️ DON’T MISS OUT — THE LITTLE MERMAID IS CALLING! 🧜‍♂️
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, our Dance Day and Singing Day camps next week have had to be cancelled. We’re really sorry for the disappointment and appreciate your understanding. 💙
BUT… our Acting Day on Monday is absolutely going ahead! 🎭✨
And we’re taking a trip under the sea for a Little Mermaid-themed day of acting, creativity, confidence and FUN!
From 09:30–15:30 at Melvin Hall, Tarves, young performers will have the chance to:

🎭 Explore characters and scenes from The Little Mermaid
🧜‍♀️ Develop their acting skills
💬 Build confidence and self-expression
🤝 Work as part of an ensemble
😂 Play drama games and have LOTS of fun
✨ Discover just how brilliant they can be when they step into the spotlight!
There are still spaces available — but once they’re gone, they’re gone!

HMTS REGISTRATION DEADLINE — TOMORROW!

Existing HMTS students, tomorrow is your final day to re-register and secure your place in our development, tiny talents and performance classes! ❤️🎭

After that, any spaces that remain will be offered to those currently sitting on our waiting lists.

And WOW… what a response we’ve had! 😍

On the back of the incredible success of Shrek Jr and our summer camps, we’ve seen a HUGE surge in interest from young people wanting to join the HMTS family.

We’ve has been a serious flurry of messages and enquiries over the last few weeks — and honestly, we couldn’t be more excited!

But if you’re an existing HMTS student and haven’t re-registered yet…

TOMORROW IS THE DAY! ⏰

Don’t leave it and and risk losing your place. ❤️
