🌟 New Friday Morning Spaces 🌟

We are happy to announce that we are now opening limited spaces for 2-year-olds every Friday morning at Kindy!

Our sessions provide a warm, nurturing play-based experience where little ones can explore, learn and build confidence through fun activities, stories, music and creative play.

This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to socialise, learn through play and begin their early years journey in a calm, supportive environment.

Haddo Kindy children are ‘on the move’ 💚
Tree climbing; balancing on tree trunks and stumps; leaping across cable drums; developing core strength on undulating terrain; running up and down hills; puddle-jumping; swinging on tree branches….
Whole body movement in nature every day ❤️

We're raising the first generation with underdeveloped vestibular systems.

Walk into any kindergarten. You'll see children who struggle to jump through a hopscotch path, swing independently, balance across low beams without falling off, sit sedentary in the sandpit, and feel lost during transitions.

What has changed?

Movement opportunities.

Previous generations climbed trees, rode bikes everywhere, constantly had a ball in their hand, lived on playground equipment, and wrestled/played 'stacks on' with siblings.

Current generation watches screens, sits in car seats, does sedentary structured activities at a table, and stays indoors.

The result? Poor core strength affecting handwriting. Short attention spans because they need movement to focus. Increased anxiety because movement calms the nervous system. Motor delays from missed critical development windows.

I'm not anti-technology. I'm pro-development. We don't have to say no to screens, we just need to make sure children are still able to build the foundation skills that they need.

‘The Naughty Crow’
This cheeky bird chased off a wood pigeon from its nest then stole all the eggs 😲
The Kindy children are discussing how to keep the eggs safe in future.
