On Friday we attended the Volunteer Fair in Market Drayton, organised by Make It Market Drayton.
It was a lovely opportunity to meet people, talk about Listening Horse CIC and the work we do with young people, as well as introduce people to horseback archery and the different ways volunteers can get involved with both.
A special thank you to Tim Manton, Mayor of Market Drayton, for stopping by our stand to say hello, taking a genuine interest in what we do and asking some really thoughtful questions. It was lovely to have the opportunity to tell you a little more about our work.
Thank you as well to everyone who stopped for a chat, asked about volunteering, wanted to know more about Listening Horse, or was simply curious about horseback archery!
And of course, a big thank you to Helen McCabe Owen and Make It Market Drayton for organising the event and creating the opportunity for local organisations and potential volunteers to meet.
We really enjoyed being part of it - thank you for having us!
