Little Poppets Nursery Little Poppets Nursery is Ellesmere's first full time day-care setting and are registered to take children from birth to 11 years.

We aim to provide full time care for both babies and young children from 7.30am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.

What a haul!
The children were very eager to see how thier carrots had grown, they enjoyed pulling them from the ground and excitedly ran in to inform Miss Kim that we had some carrots for lunch!
We explored the concept of big and little, long and short and even gave the carrots a count to see how many we had grown.
The children helped to clean the carrots before pulling the leaves, ready for Miss Kim to chop them up for Lunch.
Everyone was then very excited to see the carrots they had grown on their lunch plate, yum yum!!

Last week we had a visit from Miss Stacey and Miss Gail from the dentist. We found out about oral hygiene and how to brush our teeth properly and why this is so important. It was lots of fun practising our brushing skills on Stitch. Thank you so much for coming in and teaching us! We were also informed that there are currently vacancies for children to join Oswyn House Dental Practice, if your child or children are not currently registered with a dentist.

We've had a lovely spring walk down to the Sshhh sign at the mere, we liked looking at all of the different flowers and their pretty colours. The dandelion clock were one of their favourites. After enjoying snack overlooking the mere, we saw some little ducklings swimming with their mummy. What a lovely morning we had before coming back to nursery and having a yummy dinner, we were all very tired so we had a lovely afternoon nap.

The children had a lovely walk with Miss Lina this morning, getting close to nature. They saw lots of signs of Spring, enjoyed their snack in the woodland and really enjoyed sightseeing down the canal. They found ducks, various canal boats and even got a wave from Rosie and Jim!

The children have taken part in a mince pie walk around the community to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! 🎄 as christmas is getting closer we have some very excited children who are eagerly awaiting Christmas Day.
