EYFS has ssssssuch a great time in craft club today!! ✂️🐍

Look at the amazing artwork Elm Class have created this week! We have used watercolours to the paint our gradient background, used African repeated patterns for our border and sketched lions! Well done🎨🦁

Another exciting week in Bay class ! We looked at our egg experiment and decided water was best for our teeth . In science we conducted a germ experiment to show the importance of washing our hands. We had another amazing secret reader who joined us and read their favourite story . In art we looked at repeated patterns and warm colours to create our own weaving patterns. All this aswel as some amazing writing and maths . Well done to the children who gained the rosette and special medals from Mr Stark .

Elm Class have had a great week spending time in our wonderful school woods! We have made bug hotels, been on nature hunts & read stories outside! 🌳🍃

A great week was had by everyone in Bay class this week. Nature pictures and stories in the woods. Explaining how to brush our teeth correctly , we even set up an experiment to see which drink is best for your teeth . In art we talked about warm colours of Africa , made a lion our own African repeated patterns. Oh and we had our own secret reader on Thursday who read their favourite story to us.

🌍🦒 Fir Class Safari Adventure! 🦁🌿

Earlier this week, Fir class climbed aboard their safari jeeps and set off across the African 'savannah' on a very exciting adventure! Along the way, we spotted ‘lions’, 'giraffes' and 'zebras' as we made our journey to the mud hut (also known as the woods — and yes, it was very muddy!).

We sheltered from the scorching hot sun inside and shared a story about a girl called Handa, who took a gift to her friend… what a surprise she had at the end!

We enjoyed using our imagination, storytelling and adventure.

This term we have welcomed our wonderful new Musicly tutor Tim. We have received some great feedback about Tim’s tuition and are really pleased to have him at Sutton Green. Musicly offer parent-paid in-school time tuition for children from EYFS all the way up to Year 6 in piano, drums, guitar, ukulele and vocals.
