Today our Level One learners experienced true Southern USA hospitality at Hickory’s Smokehouse in Chester. They explored the smoker, toured the kitchen, took part in blind tastings and cocktail training, and gained real insight into the team culture and philosophy behind a fantastic hospitality business with strong local roots.

Every dish on the smokehouse platters had a story, and the Hickory’s team connected brilliantly with our future chefs, inspiring them with passion, craft, and genuine hospitality.

A fabulous way to finish the academic year for our level 2 learners: a day out in Liverpool beginning with a tour of The Art School Restaurant Paul Askew followed by a cocktail masterclass, show around and delicious lunch at BARNACLE rounded off with a tour and coffee masterclass at Crosby Coffee Roasters
