👕🎒 Can you help?
As our Year 11 students prepare to leave us, we are asking parents and carers to consider donating any school uniform including PE kit that is no longer needed.
Good-quality donated items will help support current students and those joining our school in the future, ensuring every young person has access to the clothing they need to thrive at school. 💙
If your child has outgrown or no longer requires any EPCHS uniform or PE kit, please send it into school, it can be dropped off in Reception during any school day.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping us support our school community while reducing waste. ♻️✨

A severe allergic reaction can develop quickly, so knowing what to do in an emergency is essential.
This week’s guide gives parents, carers and educators a clear overview of adrenaline devices, including EpiPen, Jext and nasal adrenaline.
The guide covers:
• Symptoms affecting the airway, breathing and circulation
• How different adrenaline devices are used
• Why the patient should lie down and remain still
• The importance of calling 999
• Why two devices should always be carried
It also reinforces a vital message: using adrenaline promptly is always better than waiting.

This prestigious achievement is earned through years of dedication, volunteering, resilience and hard work, with the foundations of that journey beginning here at EPCHS. 💙 We are incredibly proud of the confident, mature young man Cameron has become and all that he has accomplished. 👏

🌟 Three of our Golden Key students were generously sponsored by The English-Speaking Union to travel to London 🏙️ and watch the prestigious ESU Mace Debating Finals.
After a whirlwind tour of the capital, including a ride on the London Eye 🎡, students had the opportunity to watch some of the best young debaters in the country compete.
The experience confirmed what we already know – our students are debating at this level! 💬✨ They returned inspired, equipped with new techniques, sharper strategies, and even greater determination to reach the finals themselves next year. 🚀
It was a fantastic day of culture 🎭, aspiration 🌟 and oracy 🗣️, and we are incredibly grateful to the English-Speaking Union 🙏 for making it possible. ❤️

📚 Please help support our summer reading initiative! ☀️📖 We are looking for donations of books suitable for 10–12 year olds to help inspire a love of reading over the summer holidays. If you have any books at home that are no longer being used, we would be incredibly grateful for your support!
All donated books should be in good condition and will be checked before being shared with students. Please drop any donations off at Reception from Monday 1st June.
Every donation can make a huge difference — thank you for helping us put more books into the hands of young readers! 💙

🎉 Congratulations to our Sixth Form Head of Year Heroes this week! 🌟This week, Mr Hickman would like to celebrate and thank all of his Sixth Form STEM Club helpers for their dedication, kindness and unwavering support over the past two years. Their hard work and commitment have been invaluable to the success of the club, and they have been exceptional role models and a real inspiration to the younger students who attend each week. 🔬👏
Today, we also gathered for our Year 13 Leavers’ Assembly — a truly emotional occasion as we reflected on so many memories, achievements and friendships made during their time at EPCHS. It is always difficult saying goodbye to such a special group of students who have contributed so much to school life and grown into such remarkable young adults. 💙🎓
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and wish them every success and happiness in the exciting next chapter of their journeys. Although they may now be leaving EPCHS, they will always remain a valued part of our school family.
We look forward to welcoming them back for A Level Results Day on Thursday 14th August. ✨
