All aboard!🚂

Today we had a very exciting adventure as Willow room went on a train ride!

The children were so excited to see the train and loved watching everything pass by as we travelled along.

The train driver even waved at us and beeped his horn!📣 This made it extra special, and we all joined in with a big ‘CHOO CHOO!’🚂

There were lots of happy faces, excitement and plenty of waving along the way! What a lovely little adventure we had! ❤️

Pre School Graduation! 🎓

What a truly special day we had celebrating our wonderful pre school graduates! 💛

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of our children and all they have achieved during their time with us. Watching them grow in confidence, develop new skills and make lasting friendships has been a privilege. As they get ready to begin their next adventure at school, we know they will all go on to do amazing things.

Whilst we are so excited for them, we will miss every single one of our children and their families so much. Thank you for allowing us to be part of such an important stage in your child's journey. It has been a pleasure watching them learn, grow and thrive.

A huge thank you also goes to our amazing pre school staff, whose hard work, dedication and planning made our graduation celebration so special. Your care and commitment mean so much, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

Our graduation was full of smiles and laughter, with a bouncy castle, face painting, party food, games and lots of fun for everyone to enjoy! It was the perfect way to celebrate our fantastic children and create some wonderful memories together.

Congratulations to all of our graduates, we are so proud of you! 🌟 We wish you all the very best as you start your exciting new chapter big school. 🎉🫶🏻

🌸 Garden Centre! 🌸

What a lovely morning Willow Room had on their walk to Burleydam Garden Centre! 🌿

On the way, we had lots of fun waving at buses, dogs and cars, with plenty of friendly waves back!

Once we arrived, we enjoyed exploring the beautiful flowers and fascinating garden ornaments, taking in all the colours and sights around us. We even purchased some seeds and potatoes to bring back to nursery, and we can't wait to plant them together and watch them grow over the coming weeks! 🥔🌱🌼

At Grange House, we love getting out into our local community. Our regular walks give the children the opportunity to explore nature, discover the world around them and enjoy exciting new experiences, all while building confidence and creating wonderful memories together. 💚

⚽️ Its coming home ⚽️

Across the nursery, we have had a very exciting football themed day in aid of the World cup semi finals this evening!

The whole nursery enjoyed making hats, flags and bunting ready to enjoy a party food snack!

✨ Staff Appreciation✨

At Grange House, we truly value and appreciate every single member of our amazing team. The dedication, care and hard work our staff show every day does not go unnoticed, and we wanted to treat the girls to a well deserved night out! 🌟

We headed to Challenge Point Chester where we took part in lots of exciting team building games. It was amazing to see everyone getting involved, working together and having lots of laughs along the way! 🎉

A huge well done to our winning team, ‘Dancing Queens’ 👑🏆 — you smashed it!

🌍✨ Round Up of the Week! ✨🌍

This week, we have been exploring the wonderful country of Malawi, a very special place for us as a nursery. The children have loved learning all about Malawi, discovering new facts, exploring its culture and taking part in lots of exciting activities inspired by this beautiful country. 🇲🇼

🦒 Blossom Room have been on their very own safari adventure! The children enjoyed exploring through sand and water play, using their imaginations to create their own exciting journeys.

❄️ Holly Room have been busy exploring ice and discussing the colours of the Malawi flag, developing their curiosity and learning through sensory experiences.

🧁 Willow Room hosted their very own Malawi cake sale! The children enjoyed making homemade cakes and then selling them to the staff and our Management Team, Darren gave us plenty of pennies! 😉

🧖‍♀️ Oak Room were worn out after all their amazing Malawi learning and enjoyed a well-deserved relaxing spa day, taking some time to unwind and enjoy some calm activities.

We have loved seeing the children’s enthusiasm, creativity and curiosity throughout our Malawi week. It has been wonderful watching them learn about a special place and celebrate it through play, exploration and fun! 🌍💚

A truly unforgettable experience 🌍

Our Nursery Director is currently experiencing life alongside our partner charity, Changing Stars Malawi.
Each year, we send members of our team to Malawi to work within the nurseries and our community hub in Cape Maclear — an experience that consistently changes perspectives and leaves a lasting impact.

Our staff always return inspired, grounded, and with a renewed outlook on life. This year, it felt only right that one of our Directors experienced it first-hand too. Darren was proud to build a climbing frame to the community hub for hundreds of children locally to make use of each week.

By all accounts, it’s been an unbelievable journey — and one of the many meaningful perks of being part of our organisation.

Do you love cooking healthy, delicious meals — and making little tummies happy? 👶🍎
We’re looking for a Nursery Cook to join our friendly team in a job share role, preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–5.

🍴 What you’ll do:
• Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for our children
• Cater for allergies and specific dietary requirements
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen safety
• (Optional) Take on additional housekeeping or support tasks if desired

💡 What we’re looking for:
• A passion for cooking and children’s wellbeing
• Experience in a kitchen or childcare setting (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of food hygiene and allergy management
• Someone organised, reliable, and a great team player

🕘 Hours: To be discussed — typically 8am–5pm or 9am–5pm
💰 Pay: Competitive and dependent on experience
