Our Nursery Director is currently experiencing life alongside our partner charity, Changing Stars Malawi.
Each year, we send members of our team to Malawi to work within the nurseries and our community hub in Cape Maclear — an experience that consistently changes perspectives and leaves a lasting impact.

Our staff always return inspired, grounded, and with a renewed outlook on life. This year, it felt only right that one of our Directors experienced it first-hand too. Darren was proud to build a climbing frame to the community hub for hundreds of children locally to make use of each week.

By all accounts, it’s been an unbelievable journey — and one of the many meaningful perks of being part of our organisation.

🕒 Thursdays & Fridays (with option for more days/hours too)

Do you love cooking healthy, delicious meals — and making little tummies happy? 👶🍎
We’re looking for a Nursery Cook to join our friendly team in a job share role, preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–5.

🍴 What you’ll do:
• Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for our children
• Cater for allergies and specific dietary requirements
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen safety
• (Optional) Take on additional housekeeping or support tasks if desired

💡 What we’re looking for:
• A passion for cooking and children’s wellbeing
• Experience in a kitchen or childcare setting (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of food hygiene and allergy management
• Someone organised, reliable, and a great team player

🕘 Hours: To be discussed — typically 8am–5pm or 9am–5pm
💰 Pay: Competitive and dependent on experience

Our little explorers in the Baby Room recently enjoyed a delightful breakfast adventure as part of our ‘Around the World’ theme week! 🌏✨

They tasted a rainbow of colourful fruits and sampled tasty pastries, exploring new textures and flavours in a fun and sensory-rich way. From squishy mango to flaky croissants, every bite was a new discovery! 💛🍍

The children are having a blast using their fine motor skills and unleashing their creativity to whip up some yummy snacks. Who knew learning could be so delicious? 😋

We are thrilled to highlight the incredible contributions of our multi skilled, Gel! Not only does she whip up delicious meals for our little ones, but she also brings a wealth of qualifications that allow her to lend a helping hand in the classrooms when needed. Her passion for working with children shines through in everything she does.

Recently, Gel approached us with a fantastic idea to introduce weekly cooking classes for our children, and we are delighted to share that it has been an absolute ‘treat’ for everyone involved! From crafting pizzas to creating delightful puddings, our little chefs are thoroughly enjoying their hands-on culinary adventures.

🌟✨ Celebrating Loy Krathong! ✨🌟

This past week, we had the joy of celebrating the beautiful Thai festival of Loy Krathong in our babies room, led by the lovely Ketsarin! 🙌💖

Our little ones created their own floating krathongs, adorned with flowers and candles, as we shared the meaning of this enchanting festival—honoring the goddess of water and letting go of negativity. 🌊🌸🕯️
