DAZZLED by the talent of our students and staff in our whole school production of Matilda; continually BLOWN AWAY by the maturity and dedication of our Year 11s as they take their last few GCSE exams, and DELIGHTED to meet our new budding Whitby students at our Year 4/5 Information Evening. So much to enjoy, and so much to be proud of!

No presentation. No script. Just honest, open answers to the questions that matter most to you.

Places are limited to just 12 attendees, so early booking is essential. If you cannot make this session, donโ€™t worry, the event will be repeated later in the year.

๐Ÿฅพ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ณ๐ž ๐ƒ๐จ๐Ÿ๐„ ๐„๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ž๐๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐’๐ฎ๐œ๐œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ! ๐Ÿ•๏ธ

This weekend, a group of our Year 10 students successfully completed their two day Bronze Duke of Edinburghโ€™s Award qualifying expedition. ๐ŸŽ‰

Far from a โ€˜walk in the parkโ€™, students took on the challenge of walking and navigating through the hills of Moel Famau Country Park in small groups, carrying all the equipment they needed, including camping gear and supplies for an overnight stay. ๐Ÿฅพโ›บ

Throughout the expedition, they demonstrated outstanding resilience, leadership and teamwork. From tackling steep climbs and descents to navigating woodland tracks, cooking meals on Trangias and pitching their own tents, they embraced every challenge with determination and independence. ๐Ÿ’ช

Despite some challenging weather conditions and the physical and mental demands of the expedition, students remained positive and supported one another every step of the way. Their perseverance, teamwork and commitment were clear to see as they successfully completed this significant achievement. โญ

Mrs Martinโ€™s Year 8 and Year 9 History students have been showcasing their creativity and research skills through a range of impressive home learning projects on World War 1 and World War 2.

From researching family members who served during the wars to creating artwork, model trenches, memory boxes and poetry, students have explored history in a variety of thoughtful and engaging ways. ๐Ÿ“š๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿช–

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication and effort that has gone into producing these fantastic pieces of work. Well done to everyone involved for creating such outstanding projects! ๐Ÿ‘โœจ

Earlier this week, students preparing for their Maths exam attended one of our Revision Breakfast sessions, combining some valuable last minute revision with a free breakfast provided by the school. โœ๏ธโž•โž—

The session gave students the opportunity to work alongside staff, ask questions, strengthen their understanding and boost their confidence ahead of exam day. It was fantastic to see such a positive atmosphere, with everyone focused on achieving their very best. ๐ŸŒŸ

A huge thank you to our staff for their continued support and to our catering team for helping to fuel a productive start to the day. ๐Ÿ‘
