Ending our year with a wonderful achievement! ⭐️

Last Wednesday, members of our staff had the honour of attending the National Conservation Awards at Chester Zoo, where schools from across the country were recognised for their commitment to protecting our planet.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Rivacre Valley Primary School was awarded the Outstanding Conservation School Award!

This award recognises our commitment to promoting conservation through our curriculum, culture and wider community. Throughout the year, our pupils have explored rainforest conservation and sustainable living, learned about the impact of unsustainable palm oil, created conservation campaigns, written persuasive letters to companies and worked alongside Chester Zoo and local artists to become passionate advocates for protecting wildlife and the environment.

Our whole-school Rainforest Showcase brought this learning to life, helping to spread awareness across the wider community and proving that children's voices really can make a difference. We are incredibly proud of our pupils and staff, whose passion, enthusiasm and dedication made this achievement possible.

A huge thank you to Chester Zoo for recognising our work and for continuing to inspire the next generation of conservationists. Together, we are helping to create a brighter future for our planet.

A great day celebrating our Year 6's! We haven't stopped! A very competitive quiz to start the day, ice cream sundaes, a very tasty pizza treat lunch all topped off this afternoon with much needed water games and a water fight! We're so proud of you Year 6, good luck and enjoy your next chapter! 💦🔫🍕🍨
