Massive thank you again to Tom at Football Lab for taking the time out to come and spend the day with the children!! They all had a brilliant time!⚽️🥅👏🏃🏃‍♀️

What an incredible and successful day the entire school has had today!!
During our Run4Muga event, we witnessed some AMAZING sponsored laps from our children! Every single child gave it their all and we are so proud of them! They received rewards for most laps, most enthusiastic, best supporter and trying their best! There are more rewards to come once all the sponsorship money is back (due by 26th June). 🏃🏃🏽‍♀️🏅A huge thank you to all of our parents and families for supporting your children and our school with this event! ❤️

We would also like to give a massive thank you to Football Lab who voluntarily came into school and held football skill sessions with all of our younger children and then played a Power Shot game in the afternoon with the rest of school - and parents at the end of the day! Winners will be announced on Monday in school 🏆 The children (and adults) thoroughly enjoyed this and we are very grateful to you for supporting our school ☺️ ⚽️🥅

Our lovely Year 6 received their Leavers’ Hoodies this week as a gift from school. Despite the lack of smiles on some (🙈), they were delighted with them and haven’t taken them off since!

Excitement is building as our **Sponsored Run4MUGA Event** is now less than a week away! 🎉

Our pupils will be putting on their running shoes and taking on the challenge to help raise funds for our new Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), creating even more opportunities for sport, play, and physical activity for all children at our school.

Every lap completed and every sponsorship received brings us one step closer to providing this fantastic facility for our pupils.

Reception and KS1 have had a very special visit to the Ice Cream Parlours this afternoon! This was a very special treat to all children after a busy week of phonics! Well done to all those children who smashed their phonics screening check 💛🍦💛

As part of Refugee Week next week, members of our Art Council and pupils from across the school have created a collaborative artwork for the Through the Eyes of Children exhibition at Theatre Porto.
Our crocheted chain installation explores the theme of courage, representing the journeys refugees may undertake and the kindness, support and hope that can help along the way. It celebrates resilience, perseverance and the courage to keep going through challenges.

Rivacre Valley Primary School have been fundraising over the past 2 years to raise money for a MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area). Our families have been fantastic in supporting us with our efforts, however, we are still quite a way off our target to achieve this build.
We are now pleading with our community to help us raise the final amount to enable our children and hopefully the local community to have access to this wonderful initiative.
