Rewards Trip 2026 is complete ✅

Over 200 students have had an amazing time at Alton Towers today. After securing entry to a place at the end of the year, thanks to their attendance and character, students have able to spend the day enjoying the excitement of the theme park as a much deserved award 🏆

Welcome back!

We hope everyone's had a fantastic summer. We're looking forward to seeing you all back at Brooksbank next week, and a big hello to our new Year 7 students, starting with us for the very first time. We're excited to welcome you to Team Brooksbank. And welcome to our new Brooksbank Sixth students, both new and returning faces. It's going to be a great year.

Before term starts, take a moment to make sure you're school ready, uniform sorted and ready to go.

When you're back in:
Wednesday 2 September 2026 – Year 7, Year 11 and Year 12
Thursday 3 September 2026 – Year 8, Year 9, Year 10 and Year 13

School is open from 8am, with breakfast available in the dining hall and the Library open as usual. The school day itself starts at 8.30am, so students need to be in their form rooms by then.

Being in school from day one makes a real difference, it helps children settle back into routines, reconnect with friends and get stuck into everything the year has to offer. Year 11 students celebrate another year of strong results 💙

We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students, who have once again delivered a strong set of results this year. Our Attainment 8 score has risen again on last year. This measures how well students have done across all of their subjects, showing real success right across the curriculum.

We have also seen improvement in English and Maths, with more students than ever achieving the grades they need to move on to their next step, and a rising proportion securing the very highest grades.

We are proud to be a school where students can succeed in whatever they are good at, whether that's the sciences, the arts, humanities or technical subjects. Congratulations to every one of our Year 11 students, and thank you to the staff who have supported them so well. We wish them every success as they move on to the next stage of their education.

We are incredibly proud of our Sixth Form students, who have maintained the excellent standard we set last year, a genuinely strong achievement given that our cohort has almost doubled in size. Growth on this scale can bring real pressure on outcomes, and the fact that our students have held that standard is a testament to their hard work and the dedication of our staff.

We’re particularly pleased to see top grades rising alongside that growth, with 46% of A Level entries graded A*–B and 60% of vocational entries graded D*–D. This is a really exciting time for the Sixth Form at Brooksbank. More young people than ever are choosing to stay with us for their post-16 education, and today’s results are a brilliant reflection of the opportunities on offer here. Once again, every one of our students has secured the results they needed to move on to their chosen next step.
