What happens when we give children simple, everyday objects - and the time to explore them freely? 🧩💭

Heuristic play invites children to discover through doing: filling, emptying, stacking, rolling, sorting and shaking. What may look like “just play” is rich in curiosity, concentration, creativity and problem-solving.

By creating thoughtfully resourced spaces and stepping back to observe, we make room for children’s own questions: What can I do with this? What else could it become?

We had a brilliant time at Farm Adventure Yorkshire for our company away day. 🚜☀️

From tractor driving to egg throwing and assault courses to sheep herding, it was a great chance for us all to try something new, enjoy the fresh air and countryside views, and most importantly, have fun together.

We loved being able to celebrate with the whole staff team. A great day filled with laughter, teamwork and plenty of memorable moments!
