The PTA AGM is taking place on Monday 5 October, 7pm, online (follow the QR code or via this link https://teams.microsoft.com/meet/375722245455349?p=CmZUtBPpXi1irZb30h. For details about the in person location, please email [email protected]

All Committee Members will be stepping down at the AGM, and anyone who is interested in standing for election will need to be nominated and seconded (you can do this in the meeting, advance notice does not need to be given). The Chair, Treasurer and Co-Secretary are all re-standing, but we do need another Co-Secretary. All work is shared amongst us, it really isn't scary and I promise we are friendly! The AGM is also a chance to ask questions, look at and sign off the finances, and offer any ideas or suggestions for things we should or should not be doing, and where money should be spent. We really hope lots of people want to attend. You don't even need to get off the sofa to join in! All teachers, parents / carers and Governors are welcome.

The Meeting Bit:
The AGM is where all members can check to see what we have spent money on, make suggestions for what we should support moving forward, find out about what events and activities we are planning (and how to get involved if you would like to) and find out a bit more about what we do. Anyone is able to attend and ask questions or make suggestions. The meeting will be a mixture of in person and online to make it as easy as possible for people to attend.

The Election Bit:
All Committee Members must step down at the AGM, and any member of the PTA (which is anyone who is a parent, guardian or carer of a current pupil at the School) can stand for election. The roles are Chair, Secretary (currently held by two people) and Treasurer. Currently, the Chair, one of the Secretaries and Treasurer have all signalled their intention to re-run, but all positions are open to anyone who is interested! If you want to find out more about the roles, we would be happy to talk you through them (they really aren't that hard...).

If you want to find out more about being on the PTA or the roles, please speak to someone in the playground. Not sure who to approach? Drop us an email on [email protected]
We really do hope you can attend the AGM, even if you can't commit to being an active member moving foward - it is so important as a quorate AGM means we continue to be meet our legal obligations, and means we can keep doing what we are doing to fundraise to support the school and organise activities that become fun memories for the children as well!
