😋 For our secondary school pupils, there’s plenty to choose from when it comes to school lunches.

🍱 Week one menu from Wednesday 19 August includes Lasagne or Quorn Cottage Pie, Pork Sausages or Quorn Sausages with optional gravy on Thursday, and Paninis on Friday – plus soups, sides, salads and puddings.

💷 Pupils can use their Young Scot/National Entitlement Card to pay, bring cash to top up their account, or use the Pre-Order App to order up to three days in advance and collect from a designated pick-up point – ideal for skipping the queue.

Eligible pupils also have a £2.90 Free School Meal Allowance to use at break and lunchtime.

🌱 Our catering teams also use ingredients from local suppliers where possible, including fruit and veg from Swansons in Elgin, fresh meat from Fraser Brothers in Forres and free-range eggs from Brackla in Elgin.

If pupils need an adapted menu due to a medically diagnosed food intolerance or allergy, please contact the school, who will pass the details on to the Catering team.

Fancy winning a Ninja Slushie in time for the summer holidays??? Why not enter our lucky squares for a chance to win. £5 a square and we will draw once all squares are sold, hopefully before end of term!

Funds being raised will go towards supporting students and teachers at Elgin Academy. Recent support helped send our ethics team to debate at the national final, supported our badminton team with their trip and bought display boards for the classes.
