“Bringing Moray’s Young Musicians Together”

Moray Music Centre gives young people the chance to meet other young like-minded musicians from across Moray, to learn from and play with their peers, and to perform as part of a regional ensemble.

It’s more than rehearsals... it’s about belonging to supportive musical community that helps you to grow and improve.

There’s an ensemble for everyone!

Moray Music Centre offers a range of ensembles to suit different ages and abilities:

Junior String Orchestra
Junior Wind Band
Junior Brass Band
Senior String Orchestra
Senior Wind Band

Whether you’re just starting out or already experienced, you’ll find an ensemble that challenges and supports you. Open to young musicians from across Moray, no need to have lessons with a Moray Council instructor to take part.

🎶🥁 One million smiles says it all!

A huge thank you to DRUMFUN for helping deliver our Youth Music Initiative programme to P5 pupils across Moray this year.

New for 2025–26 and funded by Creative Scotland, Drumfun brought energy, creativity and joy to classrooms across the region. Children discovered rhythm, built confidence and experienced the joy of making music together.

A special thank you to Eden for your enthusiasm, passion and commitment to inspiring another generation of young musicians. 🎵❤️
