🐣🐣 Hello March and welcome little chick! 🐣🐣
The Earthtime nursery in Duffus has had 7 eggs in an incubator for 3 weeks as an educational experience for the children and staff.
The nursery will look after the chicks until Easter, making sure they are fed, watered, warm and happy. 💚
The chicks will then rejoin their parents, who were rescue hens and a cockerel, in our Lead Officer's garden.

Registration for funded places for our Forest School Nurseries is about to open! Between 16th January and 27th January, you can secure your place for the 2023/2024 school year with Moray Council at http://www.moray.gov.uk/moray_standard/page_116586.html

Earthtime is at the forefront of outdoor early years education, creating a magical environment where children can thrive. As an accredited Forest School provider and registered charity, we have experienced practitioners and a whole lot of fun! Get in contact to find out more details or to book a visit.

DUFFUS: We have provision for 2-8 years olds at our Duffus site and will be running ‘stay and play’ sessions at 11am-12 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 16th Jan and 27th Jan for parents and children to come along and see what we are all about. Please book so we know who to expect on the email and telephone number above.

ELGIN: We also have our Elgin nursery for 3-5 year olds in Cooper Park. Stay and play sessions here can be any weekday between 16th- 27th January. Please call or email to let us know if you would like to come on the details above.

2 year olds: If you are not eligible for funding, don’t worry, you can still join us and pay for sessions privately. All 3-5 year olds in Scotland can access 1140 hours of funded Early learning childcare which can be shared between providers and/or topped up to more hours privately. Contact for more details or help with your applications.
