Gordonstoun International Summer School has been operating for over 40 years and each year we welcome boys and girls from all over the world to enjoy a fantastic 3 weeks of education and fun. Many of the children come back for multiple years and each year we get wonderful feedback. A favourite quote from a former student, that sums the experience up beautifully, is “Not 3 weeks in a lifetime, but a lifetime in 3 weeks”.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in this year’s
International Summer School at . It perfectly marked fifty years of GISS, full of adventure, learning, friendship and fun - thanks to the staff who made it possible, across the board and in every capacity, and, more than anything, to both the students who attended from across the globe, and to their parents and guardians who came along. Thank you! It was a wonderful month, and we can’t wait for GISS27!

A brilliant start to the final day of GISS 2026!!

Course 2 students put together a fantastic musical showcase this morning. After a beautiful performance of True Colours, we certainly saw their true colours shining through! 🌈

Students enjoyed wandering through centuries of history—after all, not everywhere has a medieval motte-and-bailey castle within walking distance. A fantastic opportunity to step back in time and experience one of Scotland's best-preserved historic sites.
