A Reminder About School Uniform

As we look forward to welcoming students back for the new term, we would like to remind everyone of our uniform expectations.

❌Please note that leggings and coloured trainers are not permitted.

✔️Students should wear black school shoes or all-black trainers only.

Girls may choose to wear either:
🔵A knee-length skirt with tights, or
🔵School trousers.

We appreciate your support in ensuring that all students arrive dressed smartly and ready to learn from the very first day of term.

CONGRATULATIONS, YEAR 11! 🎉

We are so proud of you all. There were plenty of smiles today as students collected their GCSE results and celebrated their hard work and achievements.

We can't wait to welcome many of you back in September for Sixth Form. Whatever path you choose next, we wish you the very best for the future. 🌟

GCSE RESULTS COLLECTION UPDATE

The Sports Hall is now closed for GCSE results collection.

If you have not yet collected your results, please visit Main Reception, where staff will be available until 4:00pm today.

GCSE Results Day - Thursday 20 August

We are looking forward to welcoming our Year 11 students tomorrow for GCSE Results Day.

Students can collect their results from 9.00am in the Sports Hall. Please use the direct entrance from the car park.

Our Sixth Form staff will be available to answer any questions and provide support with post-16 options.

Good luck, Year 11! We can't wait to celebrate your achievements with you.

A Level and GCSE Results Day 2026 💯

A Level Results Day – Thursday 13 August 2026
GCSE Results Day – Thursday 20 August 2026

Results will be available for students to collect from 09:00am in the Sports Hall, which will be accessible from the main Academy car park.

All students are expected to collect their exam results in person however, if students are unable to collect their results, an ‘Exam Collection Form’ will need to be downloaded from the school website https://wla.education/exams-information/ or collected from the Academy reception, completed and returned to the Exams Office before Friday 07 August 2026; this will allow students to nominate an individual to collect their exam results on their behalf, or request to have their results sent by post (please be aware that these will not be received until after results day).

Exam results will be made available via EduLink to students after 11:30AM.

Exam results cannot be issued over the phone.
