Meet Viki - another of our top-performing IB Diploma students this year. 🌟
Viki has been part of the ACS Egham community for six years, progressing all the way from the MYP into the Diploma Programme. She credits that continuity as a real advantage - the skills built in the MYP, she says, meant she could take on the demands of the DP with far more ease than other curriculums allow.

After opening her results, Viki discovered she'd met the offer for her firm choice: Biological Sciences MSci at Imperial College London, where she starts this September.

In her own words:
"After two years of hard work and endless support from my teachers and university counsellors, I was delighted to open my exam results and find out I met my offer... The IB persistently helped to fuel my skills and passion for this fascinating subject."

She added: "Without the school's support, I would not have been able to achieve this amazing result. I'm excited for the next chapter of my life studying in London!"

Meet Vivaan - one of our top-performing IB Diploma students this year!

His school career has always run a little ahead of schedule - he moved up a year at ACS Egham and sat his IB Diploma this summer as the youngest in his cohort, finishing as its top performer.

That same head start also meant a bold decision: too young this year to apply to the medicine courses he wanted, Vivaan turned down university offers and chose to take a gap year -reapplying for medicine in the next admissions cycle.

On what the IB gave him, Vivaan said:
"What sets the IB apart for me is its emphasis on understanding and applying knowledge rather than simply memorising it. While this undoubtedly makes the programme more challenging, mastering these skills provides lasting benefits that extend into higher education and professional life."

Beyond the results, Vivaan is also a talented guitarist - a reminder that our top students are so much more than their grades. 🎸

🎉 We are so proud to celebrate our IB Class of 2026 and this year's outstanding results!

Our students averaged 34 points in the IB Diploma (against a world average of 30) - equivalent to AAA at A-Level on our comparison scale. Our highest score this year was an outstanding 44 out of 45.

And in the IB Career-related Programme, every single student passed - a 100% pass rate. 🙌

These results reflect not just academic strength, but the independence, curiosity and resilience the IB is designed to build - qualities universities increasingly say they value most.

With A-level Results Day approaching, it’s a timely opportunity to look at how different curricula prepare students not only for university, but for life beyond it.

Earlier this year, we worked with IBSCA on our latest University Admissions Officers Report, and the findings were clear: 69% rated the IB Diploma as the best curriculum for preparing students to thrive at university.

While we delight in the summer break, we wanted to shine a spotlight once again on our Good Schools Guide review.
For British families thinking hard about what the future holds, here's what caught the reviewers' attention: we're the only school in England offering all four IB programmes - a curriculum built to grow confident, adaptable thinkers who are ready for opportunity, wherever it takes them.

We're delighted to share our Class of 2026's results across the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and Career-related Programme (IBCP).

Our students achieved an outstanding average IBDP score of 34 points, equivalent to AAA at A Level. One in five scored 40 or more, a level reached by fewer than one in ten students worldwide and our cohort recorded a top score of 44 out of 45, among the highest IB scores globally.

We also celebrate 100% pass rates in both the Bilingual Diploma and the Career-related Programme, a reflection of the strength of choice we offer as the first school in the UK to provide all four IB programmes.

These results tell part of the story. Behind every point is a student who brought curiosity, character and compassion to their learning, qualities that will shape the rest of their lives.
Those qualities are already opening doors. Our graduates are moving on to universities including Durham, UCL, Imperial College London, King's College London, Bristol, Exeter, Edinburgh and York in the UK, IE University in Spain and the University of Washington, University of Michigan and Virginia Tech in the US, supported by over $20 million in scholarship offers.
