After what felt like such a long summer, yesterday we welcomed our new and returning students for the first day of the academic year.

Royals, we wish you every success in the year ahead and we encourage you to embrace challenges that interest and excite you — join new sports and activities, take risks that lead to self-discovery, travel to a new city, lean into curiosity, and seize all the opportunities that TASIS offers.

Welcome, Boarders! 👋🌍

On Sunday we opened our doors to welcome the newest members of the TASIS England community — our new boarding students and their families.

A highlight of the day was our annual family picnic, which brought new and returning students together before the start of the 2026-27 school year.

A huge thank you to our amazing team of Prefects, who greeted every arrival with a smile, and were always on hand to help them settle into their new surroundings.

We can’t wait to have everyone back on campus together tomorrow!

The sun has set on the 2026 Summer Program, and as we wish our summer students farewell, we know we’ll carry the memories of double decker buses, magical adventures, and sunny summer afternoons into the new school year and beyond.

Global Futures Calling 🌎

Congratulations to our Class of 2026 IB Diploma Programme students on receiving their exam results this week.

This year’s IB candidates achieved an excellent average diploma point score of 34, outperforming the global average of 30.88 points. 40% of subject exams received grades of 6 or 7.

The IB encourages students to think broadly and critically, embrace challenges, and grow through new experiences. The skills our students have learned through the Diploma Programme will be essential as they move into their futures at top global universities.

Well done, Class of 2026! Now take a deep breath and really, truly enjoy the summer 🎓

AP Superstars 💫

This year’s Advanced Placement candidates achieved an impressive average score of 4, outperforming the world average of 3.32 yet again! This year, 45 of our AP students were in Grades 9 and 10, demonstrating that personalized learning journeys allow students to challenge themselves and thrive academically regardless of year group.

AP courses are developed by the American College Board, and the externally assessed subject exams are valued by universities around the world.

Well done, AP Scholars! 🎓

What a first week at TASIS! ☀️

I’ve already cruised down the Thames, taken in shows at the West End, and embraced every new adventure with friends.

Between shopping trips, games, music, ice-cream in the sunshine, and World Cup watch parties, every day has brought something new.

I’ve made friends from all over the world, filled my camera roll with photos, and created memories I’ll never forget. I can’t believe this is only week one!

On Monday, we welcomed both our new and returning students to campus for three weeks of exciting trips, unique experiences, and unforgettable friendships. Already they have been diving into their classes and activities, and beating the heat with plenty of ice-cream breaks.
